Woodford reserve. Has a lot more bite to it than I'd like, all the Old Forrester expressions I've had were 10-25 more in proof and drank smoother, so I dunno, jury's out on this one so far. There are some interesting flavors popping around, so, we'll give it a few tastings.

Oh yes, I fucquin know.
Was gonna wait to address this, because I am absolutely overwhelmed.
Took a belt from the full stainless steel flask you sent as soon as I opened the package.
So fucquin smooth!

You gotta plan a trip to the Southwest in the future.
I will show you some ungodly beautiful country.
And an Alaska herf at some point is guaranteed!
Too good brother. Too fucquin good...

So had the Rare Breed at my local...stopped at the liquor store on the way home thought I’d grab a bottle of Rare Breed..

Fuggin price went from $39.95 to $47.99 a bottle since the last time I got it. Hadn’t tried the R R10 but heard good things about it and it’s also a WT product.

It’s good. Just not Rare Breed good

The whiskey market is getting about like craft beer, it’s overwhelming when you walk into a store and trying to decide what you want. Next think you know you’ve paid 30 bucks for a meh whiskey when you grabbed something for the same price range that’s really good.....

My 2nd favorite adult beverage shpo noticed the glut of craft beers a couple years ago and started cutting back on their inventory. They used to have almost two full aisles of beer, now it’s down to one. The other aisle is now filled with wine. The whisky / whiskey section is still robust.

That’s the top end of the Wild Turkey line, right?

No there’s a huge lineup, people thankfully haven’t discovered how good WT is yet.

Russell’s Reserve SB
Kentucky Spirit
Masters Keep BIB
Masters Keep
Masters Keep Revival
WT Decades
Russell’s Reserve 2002
There was also WT Diamond which was expensive and HTF

Good stuff. Always glad to be a bad influence. ThumpUp
There's a bottle of Old Forester waiting for the next time I see you on the herf,
depending on when I get wireless again. And maybe even Papa will show.
But I ain't holding my breath...

Eight&Sand, it’s a blended whiskey but I’m really digging it. Plus part of the proceeds is dedicated to supporting railroad museums and train station restoration projects

At a friend’s house. I let him sample Aberlour 16. He’s let me sample Elijah Craig 92 proof (like) and now Knob Creek 100 proof (wheeew).
