Your on an old fashion kick!

Taking a bottle of Basil 10 yr to my BIL house to give a whirl tonight, haven't tried yet but only Basil I haven't thought was great was the straight rye (green label) one. Will check back in later unless it taste so good I can't.

The 10yr Basil wasn't noticeably different that it called for an upcharge.

Did have some New Riff single barrel 105 proof last night and that was really good

Me and my little brother drank a bottle of my dad's Rock N Rye in the early 80's and replaced it with iced tea. Got away with it for almost 3 months... Damned family get togethers... We got our asses beat in front of all our aunts and uncles. Worth it.

Yes, but oddly it seems less sweet with each rock you put in the glass. Not loving it, but it mostly lives up to the gimmick.

any chance it's a Corkcicle Cigar Glass?
Older daughter gave me one for my birthday. Really doesn't work well but I thanked her profusely.
If the cigar even stays in place, the glass gets damp and would ruin it.
The good news is the glass holds a ton of booze.

Merry Christmas.

It's along the same vein. 2 regular whiskey glasses and two with the cigar holder. It's from a company called Bezrat Bareware. They are huge though. They're made to hold the fancy sphere ice cubes. Which the kids also got me. It's A LOT of ice in that sphere though. Don't see myself using them.
