Blantons. Seen some of the Orphan Barrel stuff today, but I don't know enough about them for that price..Think

Which ones? Price is pretty rough on all of em... nose on lost prophet is phenomenal. I very much enjoyed the forged oak as well.

Saw a bottle of Elmer sell for $73 on Facebook, well it was a lottery sale but that was the total of all tickets sold. Haven't seen it around here in a few months now

No Blantons either? I haven't looked here for that lately because we always have it but have to see now. Also I have not been to my honey hole in O.C. yet this year so there could be some hiding away there if lucky.

Cracked open my bottle of Bulleit Barrel Strength last nite..............While the standard Bulleit does nothing for me the 10 year old is very good and the Barrel Strength blows it out of the water.Good stuff if you can get your hands on it.

Anyone tried the Glenfiddich 14 Bourbon Barrel Reserve? Was thinking of buying some, didn't know if it was worth the extra $ over the 12.

No **** nice score!!!! Assuming you don't need me to send any then ya ;D

I will be heading to Virginia Monday. I usually have great luck on Elmer in VA. I'll keep an eye out.

PS
Back to the topic... A good friend came over the other night for a tasting.

2015 GTS, 2015 4RLtdSmB, Blantons SFTB, Michters 10, and some corn whiskey called Iowish that my girlfriend brought home for me.

Just pulled the cork on a bottle of Breckenridge.

It's gonna be a good nite Tator.

Agreed, the 18 is fantastic. I had a dram of the 25 on New Years Eve a few years ago... OMG. I bought a bottle for when I retire.

The 12 Sherry Oak is my favorite "daily" single malt.

Enjoying more 12 this evening.

Balvenie 17 doublewood, score for Father's Day. Found it to be very enjoyable and a good addition to the current stock.
