I enjoyed the hell outta this. I liked the Mac Baren in all its sweetness, but I also enjoyed that little pepper and twang that the Orlik provided. Only one relight on the first two bowls and no relights on the 3rd, although it was a little smaller. I think I packed the Orlik a little tight on the first bowl...it was much more moist than the Mac Baren.

Where's the pipe smokin' smiley?

750 - Bill Bailey's Birthday Blend.... picked it up with some birthday money so it seemed appropriate... have to admit, I liked it...

I'd never had an aromatic I liked before this, but I've never really had any other good quality aromatics before...

it's topped with blue curacao... the "room note" is quite good... the tin aroma is amazing...

the smoke itself is tasty, but not overly flavored like pretty much every aromatic i've ever had... and no bite whatsoever... got the next bowl loaded up already...

Been wanting to try for a while but wasn't sure if I would like it or not.

Smoking the Mac Baren now and I like it a lot better than the Dunhill.

Man is there anything that Dan Tobacco has done wrong?I know there's a few Dan blends I've not tried but of the ones I have,Tordenskjold Virginia Slices,Hamborger Veermaster,Patriot Flake,Mellow Mallard and now Limerick, are all in my top 10 with 3 in my top 5.

I just realized when my latest order arrived that there was a trend I'd not realized......all of it said Made In Germany.I love German pipe tobacco.

2 lbs of Limerick

One tin each of Former
Birds Eye Flake
Cross Grain Flake
Straight Grain Flake

Also ron, I found this interesting... thought you might as well... not sure if lots of tobacco companies do this or not, but dan tobacco sells plain mixing tobacco and their mother company, dan pipe, gives some "tried and true" recipes you can follow... (the page is in german)...
