I should probably say h&h has a great deal on those 8 ounce tins comes out to 1.50 an ounce, though I know I could get better baccy which ones do u guys think are fair bets taking into consideration the nice sale price

thinking about this one myself now... probably going with the frenchy's, the AJ's Vaper (never had either), and for the third, either capitol stairs, stogie, or the lj heart burley...

only had the lj heart before but enjoyed it quite a bit... the stogie looks interesting to me but I'm wary... the capitol stairs just looked like something i might enjoy...

693 - H&H Freight Train. Gonna burn it in a fresh cob.

I got my first baccy order from Pipe & Cigars today. I bought 5 different blends that were heavily based on the posts here and the noobie package that Ringsize sent me.

Perfect timing.... My kids are off with mom and the in-laws this weekend so it's just me and the dog and cat. I see a good handful of pipe bowls and cigars that will be burned this weekend.

I'm liking it, bought 2oz from the Pipe& Cigar place online. After a couple bowls tonight, I see that it will probably be in my regular rotation.

H&H Marble kake is another that ordered. It's on the list for this weekend too.

Others from my first online order ...
H&H Anny Kake
Seattle Club Mississippi River
C&D Kajun Kake

Looking forward to try them.

Then I have another handful of other blends in my noobie package from Ringsize that I need to try. Kinda scared with that... it might end up leading to another order for some more blends..

I must stay strong and fight off the urge.

good luck with that
Sarcasm

welcome to the cheaper, but not necessarily weaker, world of tobacco. i've spent probably less than 10% of what i've spent on cigars but feel like i have enough to last 5 years.

i feel like how i felt when i first started smoking cigars. wanna try everything. and since it's so much cheaper, a lot less pressure on my wallet

i feel the same way... and unlike cigars, I can try 3 or 4 different kinds of pipe tobacco in an evening and not feel burnt out on smoking...

the marble kake was a bit dissapointing to me... i kept trying to like it but it didn't work... i don't hate it, just not impressed... but i'm right with you on the freight train...

thanks carl... it's been going out off and on ever since right before the little guy got here...

haven't smoked anything but the pipe since last saturday... never thought I'd find something to replace my cigar smoking, but the pipe seems to have done it... although i did go to the shop tonight and picked up a tat capa especial which i'll be lighting up shortly... unexpected wind and light rain has cooled things down significantly... should be a nice night...

smoking this tat right now, I have to say cigars are still clearly my favorite way to enjoy tobacco... I think...

but the good cigars usually cost a good amount of money and require a decent investment of time...

the pipe is super cheap in comparison... and the pipe is really enjoyable once you get the hang of it...

and I've only just begun to sample some lower end bulk tobacco and already really enjoy it...

so maybe there's a blend out there i have yet to try that will completely change my mind and convince me the pipe is superior...

I really enjoy both cigars and pipes... and vicodin makes me ramble on internet forums...

708-haddo's delight. not what i expected. opened the can to fruit. first thought was someone (else) is going to enjoy this. i didn't pick up on the fact it has some flavoring (rum?). smoking flavor had nothing to do with the tin aroma. really nice sweet taste and noticeable tobacco flavor and nicotine .

709-another haddo's.

How the hell you guys keep up with all the different flavor/blends? Keeping track of the cigars I like is childs play to what I've seen here on this thread.
