So you're voting for Trump, then?

The guy is a jerk and a blowhard and not an ideal candidate (to say the least).
But he laughs at the "politics as usual" routine and would likely help seal the borders even if he does nothing else.
The ONLY thing preventing the last few presidents from sealing the border is the political fallout. Trump has shown time and again that he's impervious to that.

Of course, it's not a one-issue election. But I'm not afraid of the perceived isolationism. Nothing Trump might ruin can't be fixed after 4 years. The same can't be said for Hillary or Bernie. Social programs never get cut. Just doesn't happen. No politician ever won an election by saying "You know that free* tuition you're getting? Well you now have to pay for it."
BOTH sides suck at doing anything but making promises to give away more. Whether to the poor or to the corporations or the war machine, politicians just want to spend yours and my money.

Sealing the border is a good use of our money. For both the economics and the security. Don't worry about who's gonna pick the lettuce. Work visas can fill that void legally.

I'd like to add more random thoughts, but I gotta go to a graduation party soon.

So I was watching the news tonight, and it seem that at the Next Trump rally, the Speaker of the House, Senate Majoarity Leader and many notable GOP memebers will be attending - as protesters!


But I suppose many of you guys are right - it's not fair to call him a racist. Seems he just doen't like Mexicans. How can you trust anyone, even a Federal Judge when they are Mexican? That would be like trusting a Muslum.....Nah, he ain't racist. That's just a liberal talking point.....

I want a border wall, too. I do not want anyone here illegally to have a path to citizenship, I want them deported. I also think to become a citizen one of your parents should be a citizen, thus getting rid of the "anchor baby" loophole... and it infuriates me when AMERICANS (in name only) wave Mexican flags and burn American flags.

So I guess that makes me racist, too, right?

Macs if you think an American judge born in Indiana should be removed from your case because of their lineage or religion on a case that has nothing to do with race or religion then yes you are a racist. But you don't and you aren't.

No he was pretty clear it was because he was Mexican and it would be the same issue with a Muslim judge. He had plenty of chances to clarify if it was based on activities which he did not. He kept doubling down but may be back peddling today because of his own party's reaction.

Funny, his lawyers are not asking for recusal or anything of the sort and he is not attacking the numerous other judges that have kept the case going. Presumably if there was any merit based on activities his lawyers would be all over it.... if there is no merit and they asked for removal because he is mexican there would be action against them.... crickets.....

Not everything is racism.... this one is.
