Cigar and Mules. A plus 3 night with the Bones.

Next three days forecasted to be 90. My bones almost have all the winter chill out of them.

Thank you for the Bama weather, Monkey.

Ok now I am freaking out. First Dpnewell gives me a concussion , then Chewbacca kicks my teeth in, then brother Allen breaks my back.

I check my email a few hours ago and I get a letter from brother Rob (AKA Insomniac) host of "Should I Smoke This" on You Tube telling me I won this months drawing. He tells me that I have a choice tween Coffee, Watch, or Cigars. He said he assumes I would want Cigars as he does know me all to well.

Then I get an email just a minute ago from my wood guy, He tells me he has a butt load of 1/4 inch thick Red Oak planks that are planed and jointed all 4 sides that he had to purchase to get a lot of Bernese Teak that he was wanting. He said if I did not want them he was just going to put them in with the fire wood. I asked him the price he said FREE.

Things never ever go this well for me. I am going to wake up tomorrow and my pecker is going to fall off or something isn't it? Blink Blink Blink

You’re welcome, but it’s only Bama weather if the humidity is north of 70% to go with it.

Good morning, y’all.

Ewok, hope your deek doesn’t fall off. Not a good way to start a holiday weekend.

No kidding brother, It's not necessarily the falling off that has me worried. It is the fact I am blind and I might accidentally put it in a cigar care package for someone. Gives the Oliva Nub a whole new perspective in cigars.

71 mostly cloudy, High 85 and thunder storms.

83%. 69 degrees now. Have to get up on the roof and blow all the crap that fell from the oak trees before the environment gets more oppressive than MSNBC.

Sounds downright pleasant. It's been unseasonably cool lately, after a few March days in the 90's it is currently 60's ish.

Just need the damn ocean water to warm up a bit.

Two more crashes in front of my house today while I've been working on my car trailer. Replacing brakes and bearings. Weren't worn, but it's been 12 years so figured I'd do em. Brutally hot out, 93 and sunny and of course humid.

First one was I assume drunk since the cops took the driver, not the ambulance. Drove off the road into my ditch and ended up on its side. I called 911 and went back to work. Fire dept is 5 houses up the road and most of my neighbors are volunteers there, so they responded before I was even off the phone with 911.

Second one probably a bigger story. Driver in an SUV blew a stop sign at a tee, directly in the path of a dump truck. Woman got out all hysterical screaming "help me he gonna kill me" running around banging on cars that stopped in the road. Then she took off running into the swamp. Called 911 again, and once again fire dept responded before I was off the phone. Then the cops were out with dogs heading into the swamp. Probably another junkie. Must be a high volume dealer down that road because that intersection has had countless wrecks with people acting crazy. Some passed out and drive right in the swamp, find em with needles still in their arm

Meanwhile I had to torch off every bolt on the trailer brake assembly. Not a fun job in this heat.

June of '19, warm it up a bit, wouldja?

Something like 90-95, and low humidity. Not that I'm picky or anything.

Bizarre game. Karius had a day that made me feel much better about my work week.

Not a Madrid hater. I get more annoyed by Barca. So my default setting in El Classico is pro-Franco.

I was pulling for the Puds today. Guess that makes me a Pud Puller.

Oh and on a side note, had a Benton County Sherriff follow me all the way from my not so humble abode to work tonight, he did a double take, when armed guards stopped him at the gates at work. He must be one of the new deputies, all the older guys know me.

Good Morning all.

The Wife just brought me some coffee. I smell breakfast a cooking consisting of bacon, scrambled eggs, homemade cat head biscuits that will have some Speyside honey drizzled in them with butter.

Everyone have a great Sunday!

70 partly sunny, High of 89 and thunderstorms.

Edit:

You folks in the path of Alberto, stay safe! My prayers and thoughts for you all.

You're making the woman work on her birthday?

You're a pig (stud).

Can't you just take her to Claim Jumper?

LOL! It'd be great if she was cooking for me. She already left and took all the food with her. She's working today, but I'm going to head down there in a few. They're having a party for her at lunch time.

She made pancit, chicken wings, fried shrimp, fish soup (with the rockfish we got) and one other dish.

Cooking makes her happy. How can you rob her of joy on her special day?

Easy chair is going to get a good workout today.

A 4 mile fast walk in 60 minutes, a little Monaco, a nice cigar, a lot of Indy, gym with the wifey, Nascar and B-Ball to round it out.

And a big remembrance to all out vets past and present. Hope everyone is having a safe day.

A little overkill for the home user, but I'm thinking of getting one of these for work:
http://www.theinductor.com/induction-heating-products/mini-ductor

Seized nuts and bolts are more common than not at a facility where 90% of the machinery is wet all the time and having recently tried one of these, it is so much easier and faster than dragging out my oxy-ac torches.

Can't get myself going today. Hot n humid.

Tried getting to the trailer but every surface is too hot to touch. 100 degrees today according to my truck.

Grilled some meats for a red beans n rice pot. Think I'll just stay inside.
