I understand the inability to keep delicious but bad stuff at arms length...I love the taste of jalapenos, habaneros, yellow peppers, etc. But every single time I indulge, more than a little taste, I get extreme and painful lower bowel cramps and searing runs about 7-8 hours later...even when I take an antacid before...still can't resist most of the time when the peppers are in front of me...

Timely post.

Was eating pork egg rolls last night w/ sweet & sour sauce. Was told to dip them into this peanut butter sauce. Peanut Butter? Odd, but why not. Drowned the roll in it.

Thai Peanut Butter.

Removed my hooded sweatshirt, hat, shoes. Still hot.

Boiled my northwestern, European blood.

Put two racks of ribs on the Kamado while enjoying a La Riqueza along with a Sam Adams Cold Snap. Getting ready for the race at Pimlico this afternoon. Life is good today. Haven’t been able to enjoy a cigar for almost three weeks due to the chest crud cold going around.
Carry on

That race was a lot closer than anyone thought it would be. Horse is showing fatigue. Belmont is the longest race of the Crown. Not sure Justify will pull it off. He’s tired

Morning, ya’ll. Is it Thursday yet? These kids have me exhausted. LoL

Did have a great day, yesterday, with my son. Our sitter watched the girls and I got to have a boys day for my son’s 5th birthday.

They are making me pay this morning though. Can’t have an easy day two days in a row.

Bike ride completed, not to bad with current temp at 81 and humidity 69%.

Now time to fix breakfast for the crew.

Hope they like egg sandwiches.

Potato roll, fried egg, white american cheese, mayo, couple slices of bacon and slice of ripe tomato. Lettuce optional.

3 eggs over medium, Everything bagel with avocado and pepper. Two coffees and a breakfast bar.

Got about an hours worth of work done. Get an hour out done and it will reduce some of the Monday String.

Woke up a half an hour ago. Ate a huge bowl of oatmeal and now it is time to settle in and watch some TV. Gonna rain all day today like the last five days. Got almost four inches yesterday. Could get same again today, so I drained the pool a bit.

Got up at 4:30 am. Went to the garage to work on a chopping block that I am making for the wife. Got it all glued up and now its out of the clamps. I go to grab the Palm sander to get the block sanded down level and to final smoothness just to find out NO SAND PAPER other than super fine. UGGGGGG. I was hoping to finish it today but now that isn't going to happen.

Afternoon, dbs.

Got a bonus at work and like the idiot I am, I spent it on something for me. Should have just put it against the credit card. Oh well...

With it, I bought my first firearm. I got a Ruger Security-9. With the gun, case and a couple different types of ammo (box of 25 hollow point for home protection and a box of 50 range rounds), I spent just under $370. Pretty excited to shoot it for the first time. Need to buy a cleaning kit though.

Any suggestions on cleaning kits?

nah, I got a plastic case for it that I will keep locked and high out of reach. Once I get more guns, I will invest in a safe.

Some Police Departments will provide free or very cheap trigger locks to help insure safe gun storage....

Yeah, plastic cases are not very safe...….especially with 4 little ones around.....not to mention, plastic cases make it easy to steal and used by whoever steals it...….go over to the political forum and read up on responsible gun owners and guns stolen and used in a school shootings...…..

I hope your not gonna keep it in a plastic case AND loaded with hollow points......only takes a minute for kids to get in and that's a mess you don't want

Have you taken a gun safety class?...….shooting at a herf is not the same as a safety course!

Don't look at it as investing in a gun safe...…..consider it an investment in keeping a deadly tragedy from happening to your children and/or their little friends

and I'm seriously hoping you've gotten a handle on these issues before you bought a gun.....

Hey man, hope you're enjoying San Simeon and the castle...

if you're looking for a good place to eat, you should stop at Sebastians in San Simeon... or for a beachfront restaurant with great views, try Cavalier, also in San Simeon...

or try Linns in nearby Cambria, for homestyle diner type food and great PIES!!! Cambria is the town just south of San Simeon and the castle, in the right direction towards LAX.

Had a nail in the rental car tire so I had to deal with that this morning.. went to San Luis airport like Hertz told me to and they wouldn't give me another car.. like the girl on da phone said.. I was told I would have to pay to fix it cause I didn't by their insurance.. so F'em.. I put some air in it and headed on down da highway.. wasted a bunch of my time tho.. ate at Fatcats. Tamales and eggs were great.. ThumpUp
