In all the years I've lived here, i don't think the weather has ever been this nice at this time of year... currently sitting on the back patio, smoked a little herb, drinking an ice cold coke and enjoying a phenomenal hdm courtesy of victor... haven't been this relaxed in a long time... since, like last Saturday...

Ready to head out camping. ...but we don't leave till Monday night. I aint about those holiday weekend campground crowds

wait, wait, wait.
Victor buys cigars but doesn't smoke them?

now I'm questioning everything I've learned here.

start with something really small that doesnt seem overwhelming.......piddle about.......it will morph into bigger things as you get going. if not you are no worse off for trying.

Welp Corey, I did it. It didn't get no better. What it did do was help focus my attention elsewhere and to boot I got some work done on the wife's butcher block. I was out in the garage from yesterday morning till about 12am this morning mostly sanding. That block is now slick as glass.

Tampatom, you are correct I was not worse off and it was a little better for the reasons above. Now this morning I get to start all over and fight it all again.

Now please do not take me wrong guys. I am not complaining about how I feel physically. I am complaining about how having to fight it everyday all day. Or rather the stress of having to. That in itself for me is more fatiguing over a long period of time. I would have thought that I would have had more issues from the physical end but nope it is the fight that is kicking my arse. If I ever lost interest in my little dinky hobbies I would be screwed.

You folks out there have a great Friday and may the fleas of 1000 camels never infest your armpits.

not working today, first day off since early December...it's my own fault. kinda threw myself into it for a reason, it worked, but realized it's been too much and at a point becomes unhealthy. Now I need to decompress, unwind, get some quiet time to reflect...

So what to do today? Let's start by heading to the Social Security office to sign up. Just great. 65 this Summer.

YAY???

gotta make some calls later to nail down the right house to rent on da Cape mid-July. More to choose from than I thought at this time, need 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, central air, love an outdoor shower, close to a beach or two we like that's grandkid friendly.

May torment tailgater once or twice that week.

Seems everybody in my area got Friday off.

Had to do some shopping. 5 stores in a 5 mile radius. Took nearly 3 hours. Loads of traffic and insane crowds in the stores

I marvel at what you do. You do more in a few days than most people do in a month.
And there's always a roadblock.

seems like the poor guy is always digging out someone's cess pool in the winter, or building hoist machines to get spare car suspensions out of the back of a condemned barn during record heat waves...the stuff of nightmares to me.

Bought one of them whole pork loins from Costco... got about 16 chops and 2 roasts, along with the chain meat...

Cooked up Some of the chain meat and fat and used those drippings for a black pepper and cream gravy... cooked up one of the roasts with fresh pineapple slices and some spicy peppers from the garden...

Dug up some potatoes and whipped those with fresh garlic, butter, cream, and jarlsberg cheese...

Im full and the wife is happy...

The boys birthday party is tomorrow... I'm celebrating with the same cigar that i celebrated his birth with, a dc maximus... like the first, this is a gift from the incredibly generous delta... delta, thanks a ton! They're as good as i remember...
