Poured here yesterday like a tropical monsoon. Heavy flooding destroyed downtown Elicott City. Again.

I think I would move.

Third consecutive 90+ degree day here.

At least there's a breeze today, and some clouds giving a break from the sun.

Got the car trailer finished, dropped it off at my parents for storage. Can't fit camper around any place I could put flatbed and we're leaving with the camper shortly.

Camper's packed I think. First trip out we'll always forget something important. Got enough food, beer, and cigars to last a week but only got two nights.

This is not turning out to be my best day.

I think I am going to go lay it down a bit and dream about the part of me I miss the most.

Cohiba Siglo II and ETL at a mountain cabin in Montana. Great reward for a crazy and soon to be expensive vacation drive.

Sounds good. I just grilled a couple thick cheddah cheese burgers for me and the missus... now I need a beer.

Couple hot dogs and beans followed up with tequila and beer.

Lit a Mag46 while kid and puppy dogs played in the lake, wrapping it up back at the campsite with the fire going.

Wife decided to get up with the sun this morning at 5am. Boy too. And the dogs.

I got up around 6 and made breakfast.

Wife didn't eat, said she too hung over from the tequila and is back in bed sleeping. So, I lit a fire, lit a cigar and cracked a beer.

Yessir... I'll just work Thursday and Friday. How's that for a short week?

I'll pay for it later, though... I have a class to attend Mon-Fri next week, and again the week after. Then I'll have to work a 12 hour shift the Saturday after that 2nd week on Mon-Fri. d'oh!

Morning, rump shakuhs!

Finally got to go out fishing yesterday morning, first time in good weather. Caught a couple small largemouth, so I was happy. But man, it was hot and sticky outside. Glad we got to the lake early.

Whilst some of you are working short weeks, some of us raked in the dough over the weekend. Sunday was Time and a half at 26.00 per hour. Monday was triple time at 25.50 per hour. I made some serious coin over the weekend.

Went to beach, puppy dogs swam and ran around.

Looks like I didn't do a good job with the sunscreen. I am burnt.

Didn't bring any snacks other than a watermelon.

I'm seriously considering this Saturday. My coworker is first on tap... if he's busy, I'll be hollering at Al.

So... I got the wife involved in detailing her own car. We washed it, dried it, used the ol' clay bar on it, and then we waxed it. She helped the whole way... even with the clay bar. And now she understands how much effort is involved in that.

She owes me... whip
