Stocked up on chicken food for the winter. Hopefully 350 lbs gets em through. Last year was 400 but we've lost a few.

Re-dug a drainage trench through the back yard to help keep it from being too soupy as the snow melts.

Picked up the new water tank. Found a 30 gallon pressure tank for $200. Upgrade from my 20g that acts as a 5g.

Got the last of the parts I need to get the new axle installed on my trailer. Assembled the hubs and brakes but ran out of daylight to get the axle back up on the springs.

Went in the garage and did some more grinding and welding on my brother in law's christmas gift. Just gotta wire the slag off and then setup for paint.

Grilled some brats and ate dinner with the family. Now I don't feel like doing anything.

Was going to install the pressure tank after dinner but I'm afraid I'll break something and be without water/need to make a few trips back to hardware store so I'm gonna wait till tomorrow or something. I've got enough fittings and stuff in my plumbing boxes to do it twice but there's always something.

She did ask when I was planning on finishing the closet I drywalled and taped one coat about a year ago. She wants it sanded, finished and painted. But I'm lazy, and on the couch playing videogames now.

I did the closet 11/14/17. So I'll maybe pick it up again in a week.

I have a years worth of little stuff that needs to be done around here...I'm thinking you could knock it all out in a couple of days.
That woman does not appreciate you.

I had to take a nap after reading #52!

We have a new sheriff in our county. Our current sheriff was beaten by one of his own lieutenants.

I don't know what to think of it. On the one hand, we probably needed some change. But the union gave the guy over a million for his campaign. Not his union... the deputies union. Now he's beholden to the union of the deputies he leads.

That's a pretty big conflict of interest, I think.

a few stray snow flurries today. 2-3 weeks later than normal.

Two hours swinging the leaf blower is going to catch up with me in the morning. At least I didn't fall off the roof.

In other news, my dad just survived his second heart attack. For a gimpy dude, he's still a tough nut.

dang...I voted for the old guy...

on the other hand, the new guy may use some of his "honeymoon" political capital to secure higher wages for everybody as a payback for the union's support...something the old guy wouldn't be as motivated to do...

The budget for the dept is approved by the board of supervisors. Some liked Sniff, some like Bianco... and neither of them can make the board sh*t more money where there is none.

Where the board lost all respect was when they said they had no money, then gave over 40 MILLION to a firm called KPMG so they could crawl up the sheriff's ass and figure out where he could cut corners and save money for the county.

I got a stellar idea on how they could have saved 40 million... Frying pan

Good Morning all.

8 and Drafter you boys are in my thoughts and prayers.

Well, since my Dr's have decided to put me on Seroquel for mood and sleep issues it seems to be taking care of both as planed. So far the down fall is, I would eat less groceries if I was smoking good weed. Before I would forget to eat and did not have an apatite for chit. Now good gawd almighty, where is the bag of Doritos when you need em!

48 with a high of 56.

Or, she could get off her parasitic, sponging, entrapping dead ass, pour herself a cup of stfu and do it herself.

I don't think I would like her a bunch. Then again, there isn't a waiting list of people lining up to throw rose petals at my feet either.

Since I have been walking with only slight knee pain recently, I decided to get the old road bike out for a spin. The Masi Gran Criterium has been hanging in the garage for years. Used to be able to maintain about 22mph for a 100 mile race.

Couldn't even get up to 20mph over 5 miles. Now my knee is swollen. Getting old SUCKS!
