Finally back up to the low 90s here after a rare cool spring. My pool water is still too cool to stay in for long. The 100s can't be far off and 110-115 will happen sometime in June. Been looking for a vacay spot in cooler climes but the weather looks crappy everywhere else.

Just saw a notice in the news that Waymo Corp, the self-driving company, is starting testing in my area with fully loaded self-driving big rigs. Looks like Cooper's job was not long for this world anyway.

Wish they started testing while all the snow birds were in town. Could have reduced the population a little maybe.

And I could really use some rain. Having to keep the garden watered daily right now with the high temps. But dont have to mow the grass it is just about brown now its so dry.

Mother nature needs to be more equitable in distribution. Having to mow 2x/wk and still looks like a hayfield

Wisconsin! Look up Door County. An hour north of me. Can help you with the recon.

I hear you. My winters are 8 months long. You've still got the advantage. Although crime wise, we are worlds apart.

If you would like a 2/3rds or of the drive break, there is a great place for a smoke in Green Bay. Look up Prohibition Spirits & Cigar Lounge.

Day 2 of 5. The busiest but easiest day.

90% of the drivers are parked and teched. 90% of the racers have set their qualifying times.

Meal menu worked out fairly well except I did not anticipate such widespread aversion to mustard. Especially considering 99% of them are Chicago natives, but they put ketchup on hot dogs!

The only thing I put ketchup on is a hamburger. As far as Chicago people go, I've never noticed them using ketchup much. One guy from Chicago I hung around with a bit in my college days was about as tough a guy as you can find.

The only real way to eat a hot dog is the Detroit way. Chilli and onions over with or without mustard.

Been there for a week a few years ago. Stayed at a Llama farm, Sturgen Bay, Ephraim, Fish Creek etc. Beautiful in the summer.

It's a sad thing when people put ketchup on hot dogs. Friends don't let friends put ketchup on hot dogs.

Sport peppers, green relish, yellow mustard, onions, celery salt

Yes and Cory it is good for your blood pressure too.
