Even the potted plants held firm.

I wouldn't have been much help anyway

Well, an outer band of the Hurricane moved inland and hit us early this AM. Just light rain and little if any wind so far. Should also be hitting Joe on the cape but it doesn't look like much to talk about. Dunno if it will have any effect on the Maine coast, but I'll be there in a week to check it out. Haven't heard any reports from Alabama, but I feel sad for the people of the Bahamas who got the brunt of this storm. I went thru 2 or 3 of these storms in Florida, but only one in Ft. Lauderdale was really bad , where we did lose power for 3 days.

we got a little rain and some strong breezes
I even had to relight the citronella candle once while smoking a cigar out front.
That was scary.

Got rain all night, but nothing heavy. Hope everything dries up so I can mow before the Maine trip.

Might take some time for you to recover. Hope you’re gonna be OK

I lowered my pool a good 5 inches, but we only got like one inch of rain so now I may have to pay for water to refill the pool.

Invite us all over for a multi-kegger, and we’ll all pee in your pool
