The nursing home has lost like 13 people now I think.

That's probably 1/5 of their clients (or close to it)

They have 50 other potentially infected, but no test kits to verify ....

I think 13 people have died at the nursing home this month, and those have not been confirmed as corona virus deaths... They typically see around 7 deaths per month from various causes...

I think the number of patients from the nursing home who've died at the hospital from the virus is actually up in the twenty's...

I was off a bit....


The deaths associated with the facility, according to Killian, amount to 26 between Feb. 19 and March 7. That includes 15 patients who have died in local hospitals.

Of those 15, 13 have positively tested for coronavirus.

Since Feb. 19, Killian noted that 11 patients have died within the facility on top of the 15 at hospitals. He clarified that the center typically sees three to seven deaths monthly, and that there have not yet been any reports post-mortem whether those in-facility patients tested positive for coronavirus.

So possibly more than 13? Interesting... But given the media attention, doubt there's more than a couple additional deaths. Everyone has been looking for coronavirus

16 known deaths from 1 nursing home... and as of 2 days ago there were 63 patients.

Probably started with approximately 75.

So it's got a 20% death rate within that specific group.

I thought I read it was around 150 patients...

also should be noted that apparently this is the kinda nursing home people go to when they're gonna die but don't need full on hospice...

I had just looked it up. it was reported as having 63 patients 2 days ago.

... and yeah, that's pretty much what any of those nursing homes are really. I believe this one is a dementia one, but I could be wrong.

I have spoken to a few MPHs, senior medical professionals, etc., and the general consensus is that most of us are going to get this. The good news is that many of us won't even know, and a few of us will be mildly symptomatic, and only a very small group of high-risk people will get very sick or die.

It's really interesting to me that kids don't seem susceptible to this. It may be general vigor, or their highly active and still maturing immune systems, or the Chinese government designed this bug to wipe out all the old people... Dunno.

I think the Democrats designed the bug and set it off in China. Hoping to get it spread to the US and wipe all the old Republicans off the planet. I'm convinced of it....although, considering the age of their two candidates, it may backfire...just like everything else they do. What are the chances that Trump, Biden and Sanders all get it at once and they all don't make it. That could cause a sticky situation. Pence 2020!

Well, that was short lived. 3 cases in Cleveland now and DeWine declared a state of emergency for the whole state. Should be interesting how this all pans out.
