I'm pretty sure you and I already had this conversation, so I'm 98.2% sure you'll disregard this, but I may as well push that stone up the hill one more time.

The use of the term as an insult is peak idiocity.

It's shorthand for walking up to someone, pointing and mocking them with "Har har! you fight for things like social justice!"

To use that as an insult says more about the person using it than the target.

In and of itself that would normally just make the term laughable. But it clusters with "snowflake", "trigger", that pepe the frog icon, and a number of other indicators that the person using the term tends to get their social cues from places which are super concerned about men's rights, why they keep being called racist when they didn't do anything except make a joke highlighting a stereotype that people from a certain country eat cats, and a host of other topics (many which migrate here eventually).

I'm officially concerned now. Our governor is recommending no spectators indoors. High school basketball tournaments, concerts etc. Also universities should go to virtual classes. K-12 will still go to class (not sure of the reasoning there). Lots of people losing money because of what I consider over-reaction. How are the arena workers supposed to buy groceries this week? Where will all the childcare come from if they eventually close schools? Ohio is getting it wrong.

My point is it's a dig that says more about the person making it than the subject.

Essentially the only differentiating factor between those calling someone a SJW and those being called a SJW is that one of them is apparently on the side of "social justice" while the other isn't?

I'd never tell you not to use the terms you like to use tail. It's a free world. But like most things in our free world, you are not given immunity from others judging you based on your choice of words. It is crazy how fast things have changed in Ohio. 3 confirmed cases, results of at least 15 more should come out today. Governor DeWine going crazy. Some of the things like limited visitation to nursing homes and no visitation to prisons I understand. Some colleges have moved to online classes and some have just shut their doors for a month. It will be interesting if/when he closes down the schools. Luckily my wife is a teacher, so we have someone to watch the kids. Our office building is considering having people work from home if possibl, luckily I can do that pretty easily. We will see. Crazy times!

Dr. Do Nothing, I just called my sister-Thanks for reminding me- and during our conversation I mentioned "the whiny little bitch" on what she calls my cigar thingy....She got on and read some of your posts, and said "My God, he sounds like a whiny little teenage girl having her first period"...Lol, I love my Sis...

I have never in my entire life mentioned you outside of cbid. You don't exist to me outside of this place, and honestly you never will. Yet you talk about me to your family.

And since you chose to bring your sister into the argument.... seriously? "My sister thinks you're a whiny girl!" All I can say is your sister must have received the same level of education you did.
