2 rainbow stories Saturday, one to go ?

You take my hand, I'll take your hand.
Together we may get away.
This much madness is too much sorrow.
It's impossible to make it today.

She could drag me over the rainbow,
Send me away.

Down by the river,
I shot my baby.

HEHE, that's an old Neil Young song. He's got that "Down by the River" feeling, LOL.

Doubtful he could rhyme that well on any type of drugs!

I don't do drugs, but love that song - particularly the 1994 farm aid live version with Crazy Horse on You Tube. As usual, the man in corduroys is ignorant and way behind the times. I heard he was a Jolson fan.

I need a change of scenery, I may get on for a bit, IF the wifi at my son and his fiancé's apartment is strong enough.

Looks like I will be in this hospital every day 10 AM to 7 PM for quite some time.

I'm surprised Lomachenko waited so long to get started. He got beat. Lopez is legit. He backed up his smack talk.

Stephen... ya missed a good'un. Ol' Leo was "3 pliny and 3 whiskey sour" MACS' drunk.

I was sober as a judge, of course. Just got off work and I'm on call today.

Loma didn’t have enough bullets in his AK for that kid.

The kid WORKED his jab all night then finished the $ round like a champ.

That was earlier, I remember that.

After you left, things got fuzzy.

Lots of drinking happened.

I think you were talking to him in mostly a stereotypical Puerto Rican accent when you talked to MACS as you mocked him for picking the American over the Mexican fighter before he signed off to watch the main event.

Today will make 23 days without a cigarette or cigar. I know me. I need to avoid any kind of smoking or drinking or I'll crack. I was watching a movie and there was a pipe in the background leaking steam... I almost folded like a cheap card table right then and there. I still have to have a debate with myself every day about why I shouldn't... once that gets easier I'll be back to entertain.

Keep truckin... 23 days is a relatively short period of time, but you're through the hardest part...

Suggestion... don't wait for that debate to come to you... go to sleep and wake up with your reminders at the front of your mind... one of the things I used to kick the addiction was self hypnosis... it can be really effective...

Joel Alvarez - Submission Rd 1

Miranda Maverick - Decision (split)

Da Un Jung - Submission Rd 1

Alex Oliveira - Decision

Casey Kenney - Decision

Stefan Struve - KO Rd 1 (Struve is close to 7 ft tall... his opponent is close to 5 ft tall...)

Magomed Ankalaev - KO Rd 1

Lauren Murphy - Decision

Phil Hawes - KO Rd 1 (Hawes has rarely won a fight that's gone past the 1st round)

Alexandar Volkov - Submission Rd 2

Jared Cannonier - KO Rd 1

Justin Gaethje - KO Rd 2 (Tough one to call... Khabib has relentless takedowns, Gaethje has relentless forward pressure... if Gaethje can stuff the takedowns, the fight is his... if Khabib can weather the storm and be successful with the wrestling, Gaethje will be exhausted by the 3rd...)

Ooooh... I think Khabib will win, but I've only seen either of them fight once.

smart bet to make... his wrestling is so stinking good it should have a name other than wrestling... but I (kinda) think gaethje can beat him with forward pressure...

tell you right now, if Khabib's dad hadn't died, I'd be betting on Khabib... also, this weight cut was apparently not easy for him...

I like both fighters and I don't care who wins, it should be a lot of fun to watch...
