Seems like this has been a rough go lately for a batch of folks here. Ram you can beat atrial flutter. No ands ifs or buts. Carl, do the best you can do. That's all you can do. Yeah, I know, not very fine words, but it's the best I have.

Good morning everyone. 8, how hot and humid has it been by you lately? South of the border it's been 90 90 as of late. Done with my morning work out. Very bummed out today. I lost a friend to covid yesterday. He was only 37.

Dog moved their houses and chewed through the internets cable...

Some might argue they do things like this out of boredom... but what actually happened is turbo found a piece of an old rawhide bone... pebbles didn't like it that she didn't have one... she came up to me and made that clear... well I don't have another one so I tell them to share that one...

she's clearly displeased when I leave the yard to go inside and shower... internet is working while I'm showing because I have Alexa playing music.... as soon as I'm out of the shower the internet is down...

So basically she set out to moving her house as soon as I left the yard with the direct intention of getting to the internet cable because she didn't get her way... you may call me crazy but she really is that smart and also that much like a human female...

I'd like to say punishment with be swift and furious but she'll probably just get like 20 treats today instead of 30...

Hopefully the "hanging" will be successful in eliminating the pinched nerve.

Sounds good on the "Stank Tree", should net you a few pounds of finished, dry bugs! NICE!

AS for the poor little female dog, she knew you had the means of "halving" that bone, she likely smelled the tool from use on the Stank Tree, next time, I bet you will cut the bone in half, LMAO!

And, G'Day ALL!

Don't be bad!

PS, has anyone seen danm?! He hasn't checked in for 2 days.

So a stank tree is not like a stink tree... or tree of heaven (Ailanthus altissima)... it is exactly like a cannabis plant.

Yup.

Happy Thursday fellas.

Busy day trying to get things in order before I leave for the weekend to go play race cars with my friends.

It's gonna be a hot one this weekend. I reserved an electric post at the track a few months ago so I can run AC.

Traded trucks with my dad for the weekend so I don't have to worry about the tranny blowing out on me. It's been fine since I replaced the fluid but I've not towed more than 30 minutes, this is a 2 hour drive and there's too many people counting on me being there. Looking forward to towing with a diesel too.

Fed and watered the chickens, gotta mow the yard, and then pack the camper. Gotta get a few groceries yet too. Heading out to mow in a minute once I finish putting this beer in my belly. Beer

Been 90°+ for several days here.

I have to reseed the lawn after digging it all up for septic replacement, been running sprinklers to keep the seed moist. Most of it has taken surprisingly. Gotta give credit to the wife for staying on top of that while I slept on my work days.

I soak through my tshirts immediately after going outside.

Terrible loss of a 37 year old friend.

Four days in a row of 90+ degrees and a dew point over 70. Sticky gross. Wife had the 6 am dog walk. It was already 70 and sticky.

Thats just plain guacamuggy! We are on day 6 of over 110 each day and going to 115-116 over the weekend. Still like that with very low Rh under 10.

Started the day at 5:30am with a call that my uncle passed away in his sleep. At least he went peacefully. Then a Covid test this afternoon. Have to wait a week for results and when I can go back to Pennsylvania to help my aunt settle things with my uncle's belongings.

Sucking down a bottle of wine now. Hope everyone had a better day. Sorry to hear of your loss Spey.

2/3rds of a nights sleep. That will have to do.

Skin pealing off from last weekends excursion. Pulling at that is a new hobby.

That happens to me also, thought it was an age thing but I wonder if it isn't these times. C
Child abuse stories became even more painful to me after parenthood. Freaky/awful to find out about the monsters living under the skin of people you know.

If you are depressed, you are living in the past. If you are anxious, you are living in the future. If you are at peace, you are living in the present. - Lao Tzu

That said, I had the same issue Monday night after my phone died and I had the final inspection of my HVAC system scheduled for the next day. Went off without a hitch. Wife left me her phone and I made some calls and got it done. If I hadn't got it done it was a simple reschedule... so the anxiety was for nothing.
