I'm like uh idiot, I guess.

Had back surgery (L4/5) 25 years ago after a small move caused a sudden onset of searing sciatica pain and it has been the best medical decision of my life.

My PC sent me to a neurosurgeon rather than an osteo guy because it was a nerve causing the pain. He was wicked smaht too.

As long as I semi-regularly do some small movement exercises I no longer even have to think about it.

I had a successful cervical fusion and had a good result. People should listen to what their doctors have to say about their own specific case. No two spines are the same. People you meet in the doctor's waiting room or elsewhere who complain about their results are an unreliable source for advice.

Here is the other side:

Good golf buddy of mine who was just turning 55 kept having back problems. He finally agreed to back surgery which didn't help and on to another surgery. The second surgery put him in a wheelchair and the surgeon told him there was nothing more that could be done. He is an ex-marine and the most stubborn/determined guy I have ever known. After years of laying in bed trying self taught PT he is now able to walk a few steps.

If you don't want an iphone 8 or higher, take a look at the SE. It's about the same size as in iphone 8, but is powered by the same hardware as the iphone 11. SE is also only $400 instead of like $800-$1,000. Also, you will get the best deal and price at Costco's cell phone kiosk, not the cellphone store or even at the Apple Store. I just went through having to replace my iphone 5, I feel your pain...

Thanks, Robert. I'll be taking my POS phone to the POS apple store later today after I get my HVAC system inspected by the city.

Hoping they can revive it and, if not, at least save all my shiite.

Me neither... but thanks to rfenst, I am now pretty sure I want the SE instead of the 11. The SE is pretty much like the 8 but with a better processor.

It has worked to some degree. If it is possible he even makes less sense now. How far away can an object be and still have a gravitational effect on the earth?

That will keep him busy for a bit. Could you please explain quantum gravity in depth first assuming Bohrs is correct, then assuming Einstein is correct? Also is there a third possibility.

The Speyside postulate of why great societies eventually diminish themselves. Really smart people develope great societies. Really dumb people breed to much.

Robert-- thanks for the info, bud. I went to Best Buy and got the iPhone SE which is identical to what I had with a better processor. Also got $50 off the $399 price so it was like $374 out the door.

Same size and everything. My old case fits it. Restored it from the cloud. ThumpUp

Or hand out ziplock bags and a brief test to see if they can seal it. No sealie, no swimmie.

That would've been my choice as well, folks kept complaining about "NO home" button and Apple created the SE. Unfortunately, I got tangled up with the perv and his slightly used X, along with the pervy e-mails.

Ironically, he popped up on the local news as an "intake" to the popo under a Schedule 6 violation. Not sure what he had on him, but likely weed or some pills without the script.

Luckily, I don't have to bother with the cloud, I have a MacBook Pro and keep everything backed up onto it so whenever I decide to switch phones, I can just restore it from the most current backup and everything is just as I had it on the previous phone.

As I say, DON'T BE BAD!

His wife had the atomic schitts along with him,
So she’s gone too.

I’m banking on the fact that I’m in the will.
When’s rfenst scheduled to read it?

I’ve done a few back flips from the trees onto the rocks,
Just so I can get a back pain post in so I feel like I’m one of the fellas.

But nothing breaks...

Stopped on my way home to get a few things for home and prepping for track weekend. We're not doing the massive bbq banquet feast for everyone this year, so I don't need much, just enough for like a dozen or two crew folks.

Meat was deep discounted. Jacking the prices up when supplies were low kept that stuff on the shelves. They were pretty much giving away pork. I bought two 15lb shoulders for $25, 15 lbs of pork chops for $15, 8 lbs of ground beef for $12, and two chickens for $10. All were marked sell by 7/7 or 7/8.

Just bringing my kamado and blackstone to the event.
