My major accomplishment for yesterday, though I didi manage to finish reading one book.

Agreed, but I'd add you also gotta get up to replenish the beer mug.

I don't disagree with the sentiment, but I'm getting laziness advice from one guy who's retired but working full days plus overtime and another who works virtually nonstop projects around the homestead. Ya hypocrites!

SOB! Parked at the hotel in the same spot at least 20/30 times. Still forgot about the drop off on the edge of the concrete and bent my bumper 🤦🏼‍♂️. Luckily it wasn’t worse I suppose.

Wife shot another squirrel from the kitchen window.

One of these days I'm gonna make squirrel stew. She kills enough of them.

Packed the crock pot with kraut n sausage n stuff.

Poutine for lunch.

Extra crispy fries, smoked pork butt, cheese curds, green onions, and a ladle of leftover pork gravy.

That sounds amazing, yes please. Now I am drooling (as I stare down the same turkey sandwich I always bring for lunch...).

Made corn cakes with a new (to me) medium grain cornmeal... and a scoop of bacon fat... kids didn't like the chewy texture from the bigger bits of meal... wife and I loved it...

First PT appointment this afternoon, ortho appointment Friday...

Sounds delicious! Have you ever tried heating up a little bacon grease in a cast iron skillet before pouring in the batter? It makes the bottom extra crispy.

USPS delivery is terrible the last several months around here. It is even worse when it delivers Rx from a pharmacy just 15 miles from here. Used to get it by FedEx in 2 days. Now FedEx delivers to USPS. It takes 7-10 days from there. The mailman has also been as late as 5:00 5:30pm and sometimes skips a day. Hope it gets its crap together around here. Lots of people from all over central Florida are complaining.

Home mail delivery by truck to mailbox at 6:55pm. It's gotta suck being being the postman delivering in the dark.

Hey, whoa... I negotiated no Saturdays, no on call and only 3-4 days a week, man.

But yes, I'm a hypocrite. My wife tells me all the time that I do what I call other drivers a-holes for... damn her.

Went to bed around 0600, was dozing off in my chair so it was time to go to bed. Slept hard for an hour and a half and woke up.

Gonna be a long day.

Checked the raccoon traps, nothing in them this morning. Body count stays at 6. I tripped all the traps closed cause I'm not gonna be diligent in checking them during my work week.
