Trying to fall asleep again. Just barely feel asleep then the phones went off for a tornado warning, then as we were getting out of bed to get the kids the sirens starting going off. So got the family downstairs then did what every Midwestern does, grabbed a beer and went outside to watch the storm. We didn't get hit, but a few areas around us did. Hoping the best for all that were hit.

Saw the tornado warning on my phone just now. Was blissfully unaware.

Garage flooded.

Basement took on water too. But its unrelated to the strom. Looks like my toilet plumbering job wasn't great. Big puddle and a stream down to a drain.

Good morning deplorables. We had a few friends over yesterday as well. It's nice to be back to living instead of fearing. I finished mulching all the beds yesterday. No rest for the wicked. I'm doing the prep work today and will sod 2 large areas tomorrow.

Gym complete... yogurt and granola breakfast... not much else on the agenda today aside from dog park for the pooch.

Hello. Just checking in. Nothing new here. Choking humidity with zero breeze. 86/72 due to heavy cloud cover. 70% chance of rain by 2pm. I am 98.2% certain summer will begin this week or next.

wife has to check back in tonight to see if the case she's been assigned to is going to trial.... if so, she's a juror until at least the beginning of July...

I don't need a pool... there's 4 pools at 2 different clubhouses within a mile (can't drink or smoke at those) and my buddy Art has a pool and so does Delta... and I can smoke and drink at those pools. BigGrin

Boredom got me today, since I didn't go fishing. Did pretty much every article of laundry in the house... including the bed linen. Folded and put away, too... I even remade the bed!

I just got done with unloading the dishwasher from yesterday, loading it back up and now I have to change the sheets. That will conclude my duties.

I don't have "duties" per se. I take the trash out, I maintain the cars and such... but since I'm usually home all day I just do stuff to pass the time. I don't like leaving dishes in the sink, so they get washed as I use them. If the laundry needs doing, I do it if I feel like it.

Today I felt like doing something... so I did. Maybe tomorrow I'll vacuum...

Got a medical bill today... $1,431.00. Yeah, nah... called Tricare to ask WTF and the lady told me they billed it wrong and that's why it was denied. They didn't use my social or DOD ID# on my retired ID. She fixed it.
