Thanks TW. Will be able to smoke in another month when I get my permanent implant. I can't express enough about how much I miss and crave nicotine!

7.5 miles today. 20 minutes of peddling, then a double, 112 proof bourbon on the rocks, then another 20 minutes.

80 degrees. Felt ..... Buzzy.

Went to Costco to buy a soundbar, ended up with a Samsung Q67CT. But wait... at my better half's insistence we added a Samsung Q6DT 82" TV. I was looking at the 85" model but it would not fit flat in the truck between the wheel wells. If I need to upgrade again, I'll buy it online and have it delivered.

now that you mention it, yes....yes I did swab the poop deck...

small birds (Black Phoebes?) have found some delicious aphids prowling on the hibiscus plant in our backyard...after gorging themselves, they sit on the backs of the patio and bar chairs on the pool deck, leaving their droppings behind...it's a pain in the ass to have to clean after them...

I put a ceramic cat next to the patio chairs and tied some flashy streamers to the backs of the bar chairs to scare the birds away...seems to be working, for the most part...

A real cat would require no streamers and be a much more effective deterrent.

I'm just putting that out there. The shelter in Elsinore is what? 20 miles away? They have plenty. BigGrin

Mowed the lawn and cleaned gutters.

Went for a 6 mile bike ride with the boy. Went to scrapyard and got $72.

Chicken wraps for dinner.

Baited n set the raccoon traps. Took a nap.

The freaking circus show was ripe tonight. Some bipolar crack head want's to report me to corporate. She's a regular and almost had to call in the local fuzz to deal with her.

(I so wish I could make copies of the vids to share some of this stuff but without audio this one would not have been nearly as entertaining).

Flight back to Sconnie leaves in T-minus (approx) 3 days, 6 hrs. I could V-Herf live from Green Bay as 8 track's sidekick but the timeline won't work. Flight into WI on Sat 19th, flight out the following Sat.

Not sure if I'll see him. Hooking up with 8 is still tentative depending if our schedules mesh. No set schedule yet as I'm just kinda playing it by ear right now as I might only be in Green Bay for a few days.

One goal of the trip it to babysit my brother's 90 yr old MIL for her yearly trip back to visit her daughter. I'll be babysitting through the airports:
Boston to Chicago, Chicago to Madison, drive to Waupun and dump her off. Then drive to GB to visit with the folks there, then do the reverse to get back home.

Questions are: Am I the caretaker for her through the airports and stuff or am I tagging along on her coat-tails to gain special old person privileges? Do I get to drive one of the handicap golf carts from one gate to the other? That would be cool but I'm thinking they won't let me take one for a spin.

She's an old 90 yr old Polak and I'm not blood related so I can't be responsible of what comes out of her mouth... it will be entertaining.. I will assure you of that. If she dies along the way, I'm totally doing the Weekend at Bernies thing.

I think he has cooties thou... might have to stay at arms distance. That's what I heard.

Russ is definitely on the hit list for the WI tour. I'm guessing we'll hook up, since he's just on the other side of town. I'll even willing to take a 10% hit on a late submission of this term's final school paper to smoke a cigar with him. It's all about priorities.

I think I remember where his cigar bar is... I could always take an Uber there and make a scene outside until they let me in... or they call the cops.

My backup plan... I'll bring my Walmart credentials in case I need them to get in... or bailed out. If you read about a body that washes up on the shores of of the Fox River, that's me and 8track is innocent.

So I got a list of my courses for next term. One is a Humanitarian's course. I guess I need another 3 credits humanities as all of my previous credits in humanities didn't all transfer over. Turns out I need 3 more credits in this area. (These are the the classes you'd go to hung over and/or drunk and/or stoned back in the day).

I thought the Geology course that I took way back in Madison would count for earth sciences along with going camping and picking up rocks and stuff. Then we got all Humanitarian while drinking in our tents or at the camp fire with the girls... Guess not...

Course Description:

Art, literature, and philosophy tell lasting stories. Beyond the intended purpose of the artists and authors, or the shifting interpretations of the audiences, these creations tell us about cultural development, changes in worldview, and common themes that span centuries and continents.

How have you come to understand the world?
How do you express that understanding through the act of creating?
This course investigates the purpose of art, literature, and philosophy across different periods, how its themes represent the cultures that produced it, and how that art still serves society today

Kinda sounds like being in college getting drunk and stoned in a tent or a van down by the river... Maybe I can petition my advisor that... been there... done that..

Busy day ahead. In no particular order: swim laps, Walmart, Costco, clean kitchen floor and "tidy up" the house.

Daughter is brining her boyfriend home for the weekend (for the second time) and wife is freaking out that the house needs to be "clean."

I said at dinner last night that if he's going to be family, then he shouldn't care. If not, we shouldn't care. Wife shot me "the look."

Needless to say, I did not get laid last night...ram27bat

First time I’ve been accused of being innocent. Weird feeling.

Thanks! I hope to get it working today. I have the mount installed but need help hanging the TV on the wall mount. Possibly after lunch with our older son and granddaughter. He is taking us out for an early Father's day and my wife's birthday.

After "the look" I'm pretty sure you'll be busy. After 52 years the 21st of this month I know what the look from my wife means only too well.

🍹🍹🍹 THRISTY THURSDAY 🍹🍹🍹... BUT DO YOU HAVE THE 🍹🍹HUMIDITY TO GO WITH THE HEAT ?

Don't be fool... be a fool for the pool
🏊 used to put 🧊blocks in trash bags to cool the pool(the trash bags makes it so the kids don't get hurt 🤕 jumping in,or anyone else) keeps it from feeling like warm Jello.

Just got an e-mail to review my social security account thingy. Says when I retire at age 67, I'll get something like 24k annually.

Whoop, whoop! No need to dumpster dive for used lottery tickets. I'll be rolling in the dough.

What's the going rate of an abused liver and one of my kidneys?
