Does rain affect how the fish act or does it just make it less enjoyable to try to catch them?

Trying to get a Cigar and a bourbon in while the wife is at the eye Dr before I gotta make dinner. Taco Tuesday!

Cloudy and barometer drops are better for the bite. I give zero craps if I get wet while I am fishing, as long as it's warm enough. fog

Made myself a whiskey sour earlier. Fresh squeezed lemon, bourbon, a tsp of simple syrup... with a cherry.

Went a little heavy on the lemon, so it was definitely a sour.

Afternoon dudes...

Was a little humid on the dog walk. 88 and more humid now. Sheeesh. Might rain later this afternoon. Just need Thursday to be a nice day. Fishing plans.

Try Weather Underground App. Very accurate many hours in advanceb for central and northeast Florida, down to the very hour rain will begin and end. Also great for hurricaine info. YMMV.

Ha! You brought back a memory...

When I was a little kid, my parents accidentally tucked two $20 bills under my pillow while I was asleep in my dark bedroom, thinking that they were just two $1 bills. Bad mistake by the tooth fairy!

The next morning, while I was excitedly running around showing everyone the $20 bills the tooth fairy left me, my mom gasped, snatched the $20s out of my hands, and gave me two $1 bills instead. I was just as happy because I was too young to really know what the different denomminations meant.

Could have been truly expensive.

This was during the mid to late 60' and two $20 bills back then would be the present value equivalent of something like $300-400.

Am on a similar path for tomorrow. Kuba doesn't like warm weather. She can only walk about 20 minutes when the sun is out and 60+ degrees.

The low temp tonight it is only going down to 56, so up with the chickens in the a.m..

I use www.accuweather.com

They do a pretty accurate forecast in my area with radar tracking of precipitations and estimated accumulation.

Either you got an extra zero in there or sumpin... I call shenanigans!

Walked almost 3 miles with Tank and only got 5,900. Ran another three... sitting at 11,000 for the day.

Good Wednesday Morning to All!

No range time today. I had to go to the Doc's office to figure out why my balance is off and going from going from horizontal to upright makes me fee like I'm in a plane doing a snap roll. Once up, it settle down to mild dizziness. The Doc found fluid in both ears and an infection in one. A steroid shot and a trip to the pharmacy are making it better.

92/71 today with a 20% chance of rain after 1pm until into the night. Doesn't mean it will rain, but I am getting my butt to the pool in about 15 minutes to avoid complications.

Wife has Thursdays off so I am looking for ward to spending extra time with her.

Wife told me what she wants for mothers' day so I don't have to streesss-out finding her a gift!

Then, off to look at shower tile for our rebuild in the master bedrom.

Hope everyone has a great day!

A cold front moving through (relative term being AZ) so it is only 78 for a high today. Made the most of it pruning and now on to a cigar.

Try the Cuban at a local Publix supermarket. IMO, our local Publix makes better subs than any of the chain sub stores.

Gonna have to try this and see if I like it. My connection of bourbon keeps growing and I enjoy them all neat, i have made old fashioned out of some of them. Also started me an infinity bottle, I got 2oz pours out of 16 different bottles in it and it's full, so I'm gonna have to start drinking it here and there, really since I got 5 bottles I haven't put in it yet.

Been meaning to try the Pub Sub. Will do it soon.

Cheno... 2 oz bourbon, 3/4 oz lemon juice and a 1/2 oz of simple syrup (to taste). Delicious. Let me see if I can find the YouTube video where I stole that recipe from...

Edit... nope, can't find it.

Why, um. Why did you marry your mother?

Not judging (okay, some judgment) just curious.

A few years back I thought about doing one but as my collection grew and I was drinking out of different bottles each time, I realized it might not be as feasible as I thought. Plus, it seemed like a shame to pour the last two ounces of a really, really good bottle into a "pool". I think that, more than anything else, is what stopped me from starting one. Sick
