Dog walked, light breakfast down. Now to the roof to blow off the last of the oak plagues.

Don't fall. Hospital visits and injuries suck.

Gonna be rather quiet here for a bit. Weather isn't cooperating this morning and prolly most of the early afternoon. Supposedly things will clear up by 5 or 6 pm with temps in the mid 70's.

I'm not gonna spark up the grill today. A friend in the next town has a backup plan to relocate there and grill under a canopy thingy that we can set up on the deck or in the grass in the backyard. Prolly a small handful of folks that will show up. We all have various food to supplies for the grill, various salads and deserts that don't need to go to waste. We also have another canopy thing that we may bring over.

Essentially we'll play it by ear.

Happy and safe 4th to all from me and mine to you and yours. Don't blow up any fingers, body parts, or pets. I heard somewhere that hospital visits and personal injuries suck.

It’s 5:00 somewhere. But; don’t get too far ahead of me. I don’t want to have to chug to catch up.

Sitting in the sun waiting for the town parade to start.

Not sure what else we're gonna do today. Probably won't go anywhere. A quick run to the grocery store for buns took an hour at 0830. So damn crowded and only gets worse as the day goes on. Boy wants to go mini golf but I think that will have to wait for tomorrow.

Almost done preparing for my big trackside bbq event this weekend. Got everything except the meat and buns. Need to hit the smokers with my pressure washer, can do that today.

No complaints here, eight and one-half years in Matagorda County Texas made me really appreciate the 94°/70% heat/humidity here in South Carolina.

It's all relative, when we left Texas for South Carolina we did a house-hunting trip in September. While waiting for our flight home we sat outside, me enjoying a cigar and my wife was reading. Locals had their faces pressed to the terminal windows staring at us and wondering how the heck we could stand to be outside and un-airconditioned. On another trip back to California we landed at Ontario, CA airport. My sister, who lives in the high desert, was sweltering in the unusual 20% humidity; my wife and I had a great laugh.

Brisket should be done in 30-60 minutes. Then it'll be time to crack a cold beer.

Abrig is about 90 minutes out.

Happy 4th fellas! Got lost for a bit, but found my way back here.

Mrs. Beach and I've been trying out bicycling for health and wellness. Did about 30mi in the past couple weekends. I think it's doing good things for the heart and stuff, but my azz feels like I finally got to go on that camping trip

The Sun is setting in north central MA. All my projects are done including dishes cleaned and leftovers packed for lunch tomorrow.

No rain or storms in the forecast tonight so the fireworks at the larger town about 15 min away are still scheduled to go off. Here in the little town, as the night arrives there will likely be some fireworks launched by the locals.

I'll prolly just relax. Maybe have a snack a little later then drift off to sleep.

Used the ladder to get up and down from the roof.
Cut the lawn.

Picked up ant killer, sealant foam and five bags of mulch.... Then did nothing with any of it.

On the deck with a cigar, then hammock time with a book. Later, a vodka and lemonade.

Happy freedom day, bastids!

Delta, you can feel safe smoking those cigars from me. They were never near my balls, only the self portrait. Haha

Seems like mostly the same jackholes on here since I took my break. Between COVID, health issues, a crazy work schedule, moving to a new city and 4 kids, just left me with little time to get on and post. I do miss you azzhats though! Hope everyone is doing well.

Far from it. I’ve got my own ensuite. Plus the bed is one of those high end memory foam, gel thing-a-ma-bobs. It even tilts and what not. Went to bed around 21:00 and didn’t even wake up to pee until 08:00.

And the best part…I’ve got his addy. So those wanting to bomb him can start the bidding now……
