Looking at my year end paycheck. I only did 80 hours overtime this year. I used 250 hours PTO. Most of that was a cash-in to buy my ridgeline.

Gotta get back on that OT. Even just 1 shift per workweek makes a huge difference working 7/7 instead of 6/8. But 6/8 is so much nicer. Made less this year than I did in 2019.

Went to the lounge, had a couple cigars and a pint of beer. Finished it in 3 hours almost on the dot.

Home by 7:30.

Who knows how to party?!

Having a cigar and wine and a quiet night at home.

Ambulance just came to my neighbor’s house. That sucks. Not sure which house but both are retired older couples.

Three weeks?!?! Gonz

I thought it was just 10 days? Or are the tests deeper / more accurate this time around?

Hau’oli Makahiki Hou to all you Mainlanders!

Two hours+ before we turn the calendar. We stopped popping fireworks years ago so it’ll be a rather mellow midnight for my wife and I. A few neighbors on our street still ring in the new year with the long strands of fireworks so I’ll go out and enjoy the light and sound show.

I did 10 days before and was positive for cotinine so they sent it out for quantitative study and my level was low enough to pass. Don't want to risk it so just gonna do 20 days.

December closed out with the warmest on record here. Averaging 10 degrees above normal.
Today is back to a normal January. Brrr. Need to salt the driveway.

Been a good New Year so far. Woke up without a hint of a hangover for the first time since 1982. Watching a Dave Chappelle Show marathon.

Might be making a run to Ohio to get a Kangal/Malinois mix breed pup in the next week or so... GS breeds around these parts are $1K and up... Mrs. is eyeballing Shelties... d'oh! we've got two and they herd us every night to bed, sleep most the time and **** allot... as far as home protection they'll bark and umm bark... Since Dallas passed, there's a missing presence of security...

Happy New Year to all of you folks along with your family and friends.

8 track, stop sending your cold fronts my way. It's mid 30's here and more of the same tomorrow.

Prolly spark up the crock pot and make some garlic chicken for me and the kids. My son got a Dungeon & Dragons cook book form Christmas and wants to try a recipe from that. First pick is some flat bread thingy. Typical flat bread: flour, water, salt, pepper, baking soda, baking powder and stuff but this one has some yogurt and Italian spices then fried in a skillet,

Wind out of the west, so another front is coming your way. Walked the dog into the wind into an effort to diminish the wind for you.

You’re welcome.

^ Congrats on the new family addition.

I have been juicing Meyer lemons for the freezer. Some people will fill ice trays and freeze them. I place the juice from one lemon in a sandwich bag, then into the freezer. I know one guy that vac seals the whole lemon. I may give this a try.

So far in the past four to five weeks, I have harvested 388 lemons off of my tree. The majority have been given away. I copied DED's method and I have been placing bags of free lemons in the yard for passer byers to take.

I kinda want to buy a new tablet before our Florida trip. Several years ago I bought a Samsung Galaxy tab a8 and it's really a pain to use. Load time for some apps is in minutes, I timed the Walmart app and it was 74 seconds until I could type in the search bar. It's been factory reset and there's only 4 apps on there so it's not overloaded, just slow as the cold backside of a mole.

It was a budget tablet when I bought it before our last Florida road trip. It got used a little but the speed issues kept me from using it for mindless browsing vs my phone even though I can see the tablet so much better than my phone.

There's so many options at wildly different price points I can't make heads or tails of this stuff anymore.

Mazel Tov Ron and all the little 'Britches.

And Happy Birthday to Mrs Delta, who shares a NYE b'day with TLC!
My father in law used to say how considerate it was for her to be born on that day vs Jan 1...he got the tax write off for a whole year before he spent a nickel on her

Starting to pick some of mine now but it's not going to be as many as usual. A storm broke off major branches last summer so we prolly only have 100-150 this year. Enough for us to freeze for summer but some of the neighbors are going to be left holding an empty bag.
