Sorry I suck at English on paper or text and have a habit of not proof reading.

The boredom is real bad , I May have to spend some money on advertising just to get some work in on the other hand I need to enjoy my time as I have been working 12 to 20 hours a day 7 days a week for about 2 years now with not much down time.

There you go. That’s wasn’t so hard. Welcome to the madness.

Here’s a little history about the “500” threads. In the old version, the maximum number of posts was 500. That’s not the case anymore. But in its honor these threads exist. Whomever makes post number 500 is obliged to begin a new 500 thread after which the preceding one is quietly put to rest. If you do make that post and delay beginning a new thread you’ll be reminded to so so very, very quickly. It’s paramount that you somehow work “500” into the thread title.

It’s a place to say hello and talk about whatever is on your mind. Absolutely no politics allowed.

Oh and if you happen to ask for suggestions about a particular item you’re interested in purchasing it’s customary to wait for Ram to give you his opinion before you make that purchase.

Kentucky has some nice scenic roads for Harley Riders or any Riders for that matter... sounds like your in the northern region of the state?

Went to the gym today. Chest/tricep workout and a 10 minute go on the treadmill in "hill" mode.

I didn't die, but I felt pretty weak. Gotta slowly get my ass back into shape. I was killin' it before the heart issues.

Got the overnight three inches of snow moved to where it should be. Nice practice for the Friday Saturday clean up.
After that 7-10, we get three days of the Polish Kotex.

Prepping for a dogwalk in the surprising sunshine.

Interview went well. He said they still have to do 2 more interviews but I should hear back in a week or so and then my current manager has to sign off on releasing me.

It'll be monday-friday 8-10hrs per day plus 1 week of on-call every 6 weeks.

It's a pretty significant pay cut too but the oncall plus call-in pay should make up for at least half of that. Plus I can work overtime pretty consistently again too. Haven't been able to do that for a few years.

Cardiac cath lab. Will also crosstrain to electrophysiology lab after a few years.

Or I could do what the other cardiac icu nurses did when they went to cath lab and start networking with the device reps and get a job doing that. It's more work hours but big big $$$$. One guy said after two years he was over 200k. Involves a lot of schmoozing so I'm not a great fit for that but we'll see. If I get the job it opens another broad pathway for other opportunities.

Ouch!

Cold 31 going to 57 here and still about 10 below normal. A 5 miler now and gym later in the making.

From the looks of the number of cars on our roads and some of the really idiotic driving I have seen recently it appears that the snowbirds have arrived. Youse dudes that stay and shovel have my thanks.

Shoveled twice already.

Went to gas station and filled the generator can.

When the dryer is done drying both of my coats I'm gonna go shovel again.

It's coming down heavy and fast. At least its not too cold. 31F so it's the perfect snow to accumulate many inches but not too wet n heavy, not too dry and blowy

Forecast is saying 8 inches. I think we've got over half of that already according to the patio table.

Naw, that's sandwich shop thinking right there...gotta go with tires. Buy 3 - 4th's Free!

If you have that real high number it's gonna alarm the ambulance chasers, and then the insurance agents and then the whole procedure is under mass scrutiny.

Gotta be tires.

Happy Friday… Few inches of snow on the ground expecting more between this afternoon and tomorrow. I always say if it’s gonna be cold we may as well have snow. Although I would give anything for a little sunshine to go with it.
Have a great weekend all

Now it's raining and 33.

Sposeda rain the rest of the day and then go below zero overnight.

I'm thinking today might be the best bet for Chicago boat show. Unfortunately the train only stops at Mccormick place on weekends and auto show, not boat show. So I'd have to drive the whole way. Maybe no boat show. Well see.

Ran to Walmart, a coworker told me they had a ton of huge lego sets on clearance. They are clearance tagged, but they're full price. Looked for a new pair of warm slippers mine got holes in the bottoms. Biggest size they had was 11-12 but it was on the small side I can usually squeeze into 12s for stuff like that. Need to order a 14. Roads weren't terrible. Just slow moving.

Went to boat show.

Good choice. Took 40 minutes to make the hour drive. I've never seen the Dan Ryan so empty in the middle of the day.

There were more sales people than spectators. By far.

Got to go on even the million dollar boats that usually they want you to fill out a form to enter and be escorted by sales staff.

The boy loved it.

One of the best quotes from an NFL football coach comes from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' first head coach, John McKay. The Bucs where an expansion team and lost 26 straight games.

During that losing run, a reporter asked John McKay “What do you think of your team’s execution coach?” John McKay's reply: “I’m in favor of it.”

That's another good one.

This one would not pass the modern day censors:

"After the Buccaneers won their first regular season game against the New Orleans Saints during the 1977 season 33–14, McKay mused, 'Three or four plane crashes and we're in the playoffs'."

"There are three things important to every man in this locker room. His God, his family, and the Green Bay Packers. In that order.” - Coach Vince Lombardi

His quote on how to be successful as a football player (but I would extend that to life in general if you replace the Green Bay Packers to your chosen focus in life

Then there's this: What the Hell is going on out there?

Six inches down, an estimated seven more overnight. Sustained winds holding at 35, gusts from 45-50.

Gave the storm wrong directions away from your place, Bucky. Hope it works out for you.
