Sposta be nice today. Weather app says 70 and sunny... 53 right now.

I'll take 70 and sunny. In fact, I would take that every day. Not hot, not cold... just right.

Got notified some my personal info is on the dark web due to being a past customer of AT&T.
More wind, rain and snow today.
Again/still. Branches down. Many have it worse. Know several people who have been without power since Tuesday.

May as well get after it.

I got that same message due to AT&T... bassturds.

Joke's on them. I froze my accounts with the credit bureau's last year when someone tried to file my taxes... and they would have had to pay Fed and State last year. LOL

I got a measly $286 back from the feds this year. I like it that way.

Found out my dad passed away on February 12th. His wife passed last year and the nursing home where he was didn't have my number or info. I finally found out where he was only to be told it was juuuuust a bit too late, today. d'oh!

I appreciate the sentiment, fellas. I do. Not tryna be captain bring down. He and I were not close. He didn't really stay in touch with me or my Aunt... his own sister. Had to call her with the news. She's 4 years older than he was. Still sharp as a tack.

Just would have liked to say goodbye, is all.

You're not alone, now your Aunt is now the Matriarch. Family is "issued", we don't get a choice.

Speaking of Dragging. A little fun this afternoon. My son’s old plastic toboggan got some use today, helping me collect downed sticks and branches from the weather over the last three days and drag them to the curb.

Gave me some fun flashbacks of dragging him around the back yard 20 years ago.

Figured out why there no internet at the house. That line entangled in a fallen tree limb is most likely (prolly 98.2%) the reason why no cable. No wonder why the person at Comcast customer service couldn't fix the problem from her end (prolly somewhere a couple time zones away) but we still had to go through the diagnostic check list.

Yes ma'am, I have power and the modem is plugged in.
Yes ma'am I know how to reset my modem. I've done it three times. Unplug, wait... replug.... wait... unplug... wait... replug... wait...
OK,I'll do it again....
Nope it still no worky, worky... that's why I called you.
OK fine, send a reset signal from your end.
Oh you can't connect to my modem? Hmmm... I wonder why? Didn't I tell you that there is a wire down in front of my house... I think I mentioned that in the beginning of this silliness?
Oh, the modem I have is 2 yrs old and I need an upgrade. OK, send me a new modem BUT THE MODEM IS NOT THE ISSUE HERE.
Remember the wire thingy that is no longer connected to my house? Maybe send someone out to reconnect it and tell them to bring me that new modem too (it's not the modem you dips#it).

"We will send a technician tomorrow between 4 and 6 pm to replace the modem."

I feel like Basil from Fawlty Towers: "Oh, I could spend the rest of my life this conversation. Look, please try to understand before one of us dies"

Credit report freeze x 3 completed.
Did them online.
Had to set up accounts with the three companies.
Only took about a half hour to get it done.
A little semi-content, exhale.

I keep mine that way. Just keep those pins/PWs incase you need to unlock them. I did mine to get a cash rebate/low interest rate buying a new truck. I wanted to pay cash but my wiser financial guy dope slapped me and said the interest was lower than the return on my money. d'oh!

Made a dangerous discovery today. A newly opened donut shop is run by immigrants that moved her from Dallas. The donuts and fritters are very good, but then I noticed they make Texas kolaches! Sausage and cheese in a nice fluffy bun kinda like Crescent rolls. They also have cheese and Jalapeños sausage kolaches.

Happy Friday for sure.

Got my msg from AT&T about the data breach not that it matters because the breach happened in 2021 when AT&T denied it and ShiningHacker sold all the info on the dark web years ago.

Headed to the dealership to get my next 2 wheel rocket to possibly kill myself on. Hoping to get some riding weather today, or at least this weekend but it's not looking good today. Possibly Sunday but even then gotta take it easy because of all the debris on the roads from the flooding.

I'll probably hit up the shpo later for Friday night debauchery and azzhattery.

Good Friday Morning to All! It's a clear and crisp 52° on the way to 67° today. The truck is packed and ready to got to Douglas, Georgia for another ARA match.

In addition to a USB stick full of music I have another one filled with CBS Radio mystery Theater shows. Old radio shows of murder and mayhem hosted by E, G, Marshall. They are a good for long drives.

Hello, dudes...

I love me some sweet... but I love me some savory, too. Lately been skipping the sweet as much as humanly possible and opting for the savory.

Sugar and complex carbs are the frankin' devil. Been eating as clean as I can. Beef, Chicken, fruits, vegetables, tuna... staying away from processed/packaged crap.

Kills me not to have my ice cream, but once in a while as a treat (as it was meant to be) will have to do.

4.8 is nothing. You’ll feel it but it’s not gonna break anything.

The daughter felt it in the Bronx. Texted us immediately.

Moved from California to New York and still has earthquakes.

Hello everyone. We just returned from skiing on Mt Rose. Our weather should break into the 70's next week. I am looking forward to that.

We are going to friends tonight and having Cajun and Creole food. The scale is already groaning.

Enjoy your weekends.

reading out of my playbook, Brother...and I do sneak in a Klondike bar once in a while. The individually wrapped serving keeps me from over-doing it outta the carton...

It's tough when the grandkids are around...they like their processed packaged snacks, like cookies, candies and chips...tried explaining to Lauren that she has to restrain them or they'll be like me in a few decades...

I have a sweet tooth. I snack on candy throughout the day. Gummie bears or worms, Jolly Ranchers, licorice, sweetish fish and stuff like that. I also like chocolate preferably dark chocolate. Mounds bars or just dark chocolate. I'll still do Snickers and Butterfingers for bar candy.

I also snack on a lot of fruit like apples, oranges, clementines, grapes, strawberries. Plus summer is coming up which means watermelon season is coming up. Love me some watermelon.

I also snack on granola bars. Way more healthy than candy but I do with what I have and what my mind and body craves. If I run out of fruit, I need to buy more. I guess that's a definition of an addiction. It's a healthy addiction - I wouldn't go through withdrawals or rob someone to get another box of granola bars.

Also like to snack on stuffed olives (green olives stuffed with jalapeno, garlic, or feta cheese). I use to buy cherry peppers stuffed with prosciutto and provolone but it's hit or miss if I can find them at the grocery stores. They don't seem to be a popular item in this area. When I see them, I'll snag a couple of jars.

If you look at the added sugars in granola bars... and the seed oils, they are absolutely not healthy. Better than a candy bar, of course due to less added sugar, but still a lot of added sugar.

Mornin' dudes. Gotta get rollin'. Coffeed up, need to get the pupper out for his daily doodies.
