When you disagree with most of the righties on this board they need that 'your opinion is valid' line, if you don't give it they think you are arrogant for presenting a different view. I can't keep doing that every time. I don't even know your politics but you are a better person for having noticed this and done it. It might keep him from crying.

I don't know his politics, not so sure that he even took a position on the public school issue. Seemed like Hank's issue was with what he saw as hypocrisy on my part. My first reaction was I thought he had a problem with me, he said no, I have no reason not to believe him, and his opinion IS valid, we just may not agree.

I even think he was giving my opinions consideration, or at least respect, up to that one line. If not, so what?

Having been in conversations with him in the past, I do, and you were right in patting him on the head.

you do see the irony I assume. On the Israel/Palestine chance for peace, you called me a right wing conservative. Fuzz is reading left leaner cuz of public school teacher stand.

Oddly, I respect both of your rights to be wrong.

OK?

The truth is that in post 147 I said: "I don't even know your politics but you are a better person for having noticed this and done it."

Keeping it real.

I've met plenty of flaming liberal American Jews that when it comes to Israel would fall in the definition of Israeli right wing conservative. I don't see those as contradictory since really both political parties in the US have the exact same line of this issue.

I've moved beyond looking for Israeli/Palestinian peace. Right now I see the real opportunity is to figure out how to arm both sides of the conflict before the next war and not do it with US taxpayer money or at least have a piece of the companies that stand to profit from destruction in the region.

Just invest in tourist companies because even if the area is destroyed people will still flock there to worship the holy whole in the ground.

That's "outside the box" thinking. I like it.

Admitting to that is pretty damn risky.

Ah, a whole new thread. Don't you understand yet that peace with any of these now unstable mofos would have been futile? You think Israel had no idea this was coming? Please. Other than Israeli, no signers wouldl even have been factors when new governments shake out. Peace has been accomplished by being strong in an area of instability. Let these crazies decide their new directions and then see if peace has a shot or if it's time to be even stronger.

We armed Iran AND Iraq once upon a time when they went at it. Probably still killing Americans with those weapons. Sure, we want a repeat of that policy. Ollie North, where ever you are, please leave the Nicaraguan tobacco fields alone.

I do love it so when you paint with such a wide brush. What is YOUR definition of "righties"? Please no generalizations or assumptions. Is it just safer to state we are righties because we don't agree with the world according to FuzzNJ?

I don't label people I don't know. Posting on cigar a auction site doesn't lead to knowing you or anyone else.

Heck you may be former NJ Gov. Christie for all we know and are just here trolling. : )

I never cry, don't need/require validation from anyone, refrain from name calling or patronizing. It'd be so much nicer "here" if more folks were that way...

But then it wouldn't be nearly as entertaining now would it?

You mean Benjamin Netanyahu, Dov Lior, and Avigdor Lieberman?

There are over 550 million firearms in worldwide circulation. That's one firearm for every twelve people on the planet. The only question is: How do we arm the other 11?

On the Holy Hole in the Ground tours, for an extra fee each member of the group will have their own Geiger counters!

Puh-leeze.

This thread was a taffy pulling exercise and a bloviating excuse to raise carbon emissions.
