Basement's at about 2" of water right now.

Got both sump pumps running continuously. Just went out and dug a trench in the front yard to make sure outlet pipes were flowing.

Gonna get a lot deeper by the rate of inflow. And there's not a damn thing I can do about it.

Put on your swim trunks brother and pull out the fly rod. Good time to practice aim.

My roads closed now. The small creek connecting two lowland swamps outgrew the 10ft culvert. Looks like the road is under 2-3ft of water.

I just hope the power stays on. I buried my generators in a not so accessible spot, and the racecar is blocking them in. Racecar suspension is removed, can't move it.

And if I could get one out, I don't think I have much gasoline on hand.

Usually pretty prepared for stuff like this, but it's been a few years and I'm getting caught with my pants down now.

Good news is the rain slowed, and the pumps are holding steady. Water hasn't gotten deeper.

28 here too... only thing unusual about it is that it's our first hard freeze this year... last 3 week's were so warm my mustard plants had already bolted and begun flowering... probably didn't survive last night... no spicy mustard this year...

I really hope to get some of them this year. So fun to catch and my favorite fish to eat... aside from salmon (without the ella).

Been raining all day. Creek overflowed the road, so that's closed. Couple other roads around me closed. Lots of houses with water up to doorsills and cars in water up to doors too.

Sposeda rain all night and into tomorrow too.

local facebook page posted a picture of Target underwater

When you have free time this summer, let me know. It's likely gonna get good for bonito and yellowtail around April/May... but I doubt Dorado show up before July, depending on how warm the water gets. It was 72-74 around the islands when they were going nuts last year.

Some half day boats are getting a few slug yellows right now. Usually on the yo-yo.

I told wife when we were out there that I could deal with the fruits and nuts for that kind of weather.

Sister just said crews are sandbagging the river by her and are growing an indoor pool in their basement.

More roads are blocked off now from flooding.

Rain's still pouring. I threw an empty 5g bucket on the deck to see how much we get. Bucket's just shy of halfway, in 24 hours. And the rain started with about 12-16 inches of snow on the ground.
