...good call...you still have to spend another night with him...

Sure, sure... make fun of the old guy with incontinence. Thankfully my maxi-pad caught it and it didn't run through to my white shorts... that would have been embarrassing. Anxious

Shoudn't have told him that. Now he's gonna figure out his fish taco wasn't really a fish taco.

I have to review all the gopro video I got, but I think there was one 10-12 minute stretch where we were all pulling up fish. I think I hauled in four fish in those 12 minutes.

As much scotch as he drank, you could have bypassed your shorts and hit him with a direct shot and he would never known the difference.

We had fun this weekend...despite occasional rough seas, this was one of the best days I've ever enjoyed, fishing in the ocean...

Very cool to finally meet Drafter and Victor...good times spending a weekend with them and the OG's from the first Morro Bay Fishnherf...great scotch, beer, cigars and conversation. Stay tuned, film (photo) at 11...

feel like my age is catching up to me, though, cuz I'm a tired wreck...feel like a train ran thro...uhhh, over me...still wobbling with some soreness and stiffness...elder abuse, I say...

MACS' new truck is very comfy though...caught a decent hour or so of needed sleep on the drive home...Abrignac sawed off several logs too, about an hours worth, before the end of the ride...good thing the car stereo was up to the task...

Joel and his wife obviously went to great lengths to make this a memorable fishing week-end for all of us... my deepest gratitude to them for their thoughtfulness...

Can't wait for the next one...

Knew it was too good to be true. The first three legs of my flight were on time an uneventful. My flight back home from DFW is going to be late. We were supposed to be boarding now. But, the damn plane hasn't even arrived.

What a beautiful 2nd Annual Morro Bay Deep Sea Fishing Herf... i really hope Frank and tw and maybe a couple more make it next year...

the house we rented was absolutely beautiful, great ocean view, plenty of space... cigars on the front patio - although not as great as cigars on the roof would have been - was amongst the most relaxed I've ever been...

Al, you nailed the cooking... the tri tip and tots was a real treat and the fish was perfectly prepared... and I'm always glad you're around when i deep sea fish so I'm not the only one whose hands throw up involuntary gang signs, darn hand cramps...

Anthony, always great to see you and I'm always grateful you make the long trip out... although thorough and impressive in your fish catching abilities, you've been officially dethroned as 'Big Fish'... the honor now belongs to drafter... you'll have to try and recapture next year...

William, it was a pleasure to meet you in person... i really hope you enjoyed the trip and i hope you make it back next year to defend your new title...

Victor, really glad to meet you as well... greatly enjoyed the good laughs and really glad you got the opportunity to catch a ton of big fish too... hopefully the woman loves it and pushes you to return next year...

Shawn, always good to see you and always great to fish with you... Al forgot his ice chest and i grabbed it for him just so i could make an excuse to drive down there and go fishing as soon as the bite is on... and maybe/ hopefully you can make it back up here sometime in the next few months so we can go get those ling...

Nothing like being around old friends i haven't seen in awhile (or ever)... I'm grateful to all who came out and thank you all for making it happen... and i was handed so many great cigars by so many of you, i can't say thanks enough...

Another successful one in the books... already looking forward to part 3...

No worries, man. I figured you did, since you brought the other scotch, Drafter can't take it on a plane, and Joel doesn't drink... enjoy. Beer

Probably. I vaguely remember packing it when we were leaving.

Looks like I may need a new lucky fishing hat... I think that's the 3rd one I lost. Mellow

Dood! You're a bright, young man.
Google "How to remove a hat".
