The good old days when not only bribes, but tickets themselves were cheap. I think it was $25 for the aforementioned Ozzfest, for 10+ hrs of most of the hardest hitting bands of that time. Nowadays you can't get a concert shirt for that price. Maybe could buy you a beer for it. A second would be pushing it
Man you aren't kidding. Queen is coming through with what's his name singing... $400 for nose bleeds. Without the Greatest Frontman of all time singing I thought.... Maybe $50 -$60 for decent tix. I was stunned.
Btw do people still sleep out for tickets? Had a ton of fun sleeping out for Springsteen, Bowie, Amnesty International, etc etc tix. Never spent more than $25 for GOOD seats. Most concerts were a flat $20. Not front row but damned close.
