7 foot ceilings... I'm only 5'7" so I guess I can work with that. Lowering a ceiling to add addition, seems kind of wierd.

Also you have done alot of house hunting in your life haven't you. I'm sure you have lots of stories to tell, Not sure I would want to hear them, but stories you must have. LOL

haha- I get that alot.
Yeah, family used to write our address in pencil, at one point in our lives we moved once a year. Buy a place, fix, resell and repeat. Lived here in Texas for 15 years and only moved 4 times.

DED - you're in the on-deck circle.

If the new clown doesn't know he's supposed to start a new 500 (and I am sure he doesn't) you were next... soo...

We’ve lived in our house for almost 33 years now. Bought it new.

I’ve moved a grand total of 7 times in my whole life. Born and raised on this rock of an island.

Time for a new roof? My house is about that old and many in my neighborhood are getting replacements in the last few months. I'm told our tile should last 30 years unless there is damage.

Just did ours at 25 years. It's really the felt underlayment that deteriorates in our climate. We started having a leak (no damage to tile) and didn't want to patch that spot and worry about a different spot later. Whole thing was done in like three days.

I have the one that came with it, but since I am just "trying this out" to see if I want to keep it, I didn't want to put the drywall anchors into the ceiling just yet.

Curious to know how it works out. I don't have too bad wi-fi with two modems, one upstairs and one down Streaming tv at the other end of house and sometimes it gets bogged.
