Laid down. Within 5 minutes starting coughing. Within 30 minutes it became non-stop. After about an hour I go in the truck stop to get some cough medicine. They don’t have any. So now I’m in a bed in the ER at Monument Hospital in Grand Rapids, SD.

Slowly making my way to Billings, MT. Another driver is going to meet me there to get my trailer.

I’ve got RSV virus. Freaking miserable.

Up on I-90 about 40 miles west of Gillette, WY. Been on the road for 2 1/2 hours. Got another 3 hours to go but I’m going to stop at a rest area about 30 miles away and take an hour or so nap.

Don’t know about Southern California but it damn sure never rains in Tiger Stadium.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiger_Stadium_ (Louisiana)

Despite being 14–2 at Tiger Stadium, famed Alabama head coach Bear Bryant once remarked that "Baton Rouge happens to be the worst place in the world for a visiting team. It's like being inside a drum."

Survey after survey has concluded that Tiger Stadium is the most difficult place for a visiting team to play, including surveys by the College Football Association in 1987, The Sporting News in 1989, Gannett News Service in 1995, and Sport Magazine in 1998.[7] More recently, in 2007, ESPN named Tiger Stadium "the scariest place to play", saying that "Tiger Stadium is, by far, the loudest stadium in the country."

Wife's dependent ID expired. Made an appointment for the 29th... last Monday... and both of us forgot about it until today. 🤦

Went in and got her a new one today. Walked in and nobody was in front of us. Dude made me a new one, too... apparently the old blue retired ID's are out of style. I didn't have to change it for a year or so, when they'll mandate the new one... but I figured why not, I was already there.

Fishing is a go tomorrow... hope I catch some fish. Ain't been fishing in months. I think I forgot how. 🤥

A long time ago I was at a friend's house who had a tv and stereo system attatched to it. Somebody was playing LSU at home at night. They were schlonging some lower end team (Kentucky). Kentucky had 3rd down and forever. Even though I was in my twenties, I asked him to turn the volume down- it was at 2.

Turned on another game- not nearly the same experience.

That place is magical. It’s unbelievable just how loud it gets. When I was still a deputy I worked a few games for extra duty. Even under normal circumstances you almost have to lean in close to someone’s ear and holler to be heard. Let LSU make a good play and it’s useless to try to communicate. If they score it’s ear piercing.

Also, 4 earthquakes have been registered in Tiger stadium.

1) October 8, 1988, the LSU Tigers upset No. 4 Auburn 7–6. LSU's quarterback Tommy Hodson drove the team down the field before throwing an 11-yard touchdown pass to Eddie Fuller on 4th down.

2) "Garthquake" happened on April 30, 2022. Garth Brooks played Callin' Baton Rouge and the noise generated shook the Earth again.

3) On November 5, 2022, LSU fans generated two ground motion events back to back. First when Jayden Daniels scored a touchdown on a 25 yard run in overtime.

4) Then another earthquake three minutes later when Mason Taylor caught the game-winning two-point conversion.
