(conscientious objector), you know the type they join the military during peace time and grab all the money and benifits and then when war breaks out they yell C.O.. Some say that C.O. is their pupa stage and in their final stage they become a full blown whining liberal. JonR

The week before last, 50+ Fighter Jets were unearthed by the Bagdad Airport, this week a whole bunch of weapons of smaller types, were uncovered by troops.

If they hid this stuff, we are surely going to find more weapons. But when you have to watch your back CONSTANTLY, the process will be slowed down.

If we can't find them then how did we have PROOF that they were there? It seems really simple, Colin Powell said we have PROOF in front of the UN, therefore we should be able to use that PROOF to find them more expeditiously. Doesn't this seem a little fishy???

What's that saying? Absence of proof is not proof of absence. Or something to that affect.

Sure we could have had an exact location at the time Powell said we have proof (although I belived he said we have evidence they have WMD's), but in the weeks that followed a bulldozer in the sand can hid a lot.

Remember that nuclear scientist that had many parts used in the production of nuclear grade weaponry buried in his back yard? We'd have to dig up the entire county to find everything.

It's not like we're talking about two years went by between Powell's speech and the invasion, it was a matter of weeks...

I'm not saying they don't have WMD, but if we used this as a justification for war we should be able to prove it. And don't try and say it was all about terrorism or freeing the Iraqi people, it was about WMD and Chemical weapons, the rest of it got lopped on to cover up for the lack of evidence regarding the UN infractions on WMD.

Also, as I recall we have very good satellites, which happen to have incredible cameras. If we had proof then we would most likely have locations of said infractions, and with these satellites we could monitor the locations and keep tabs if the evidence was bulldozed with sand, moved or whatever else the Iraqi's could think of.

The Iraqies dumped tons of chemicals in the Tigres. We did a analysis of the water and it showed extremely high levels of all that bad stuff and that was weeks after the invasion started. Can you imaging how high the levels were at the time of dumping? Weeks of water down stream can dilute it, but the levels were still extrodinarly high.

Did they dump the WMD in there too?

There were weapons of mass destruction in his possesion in the past. Thats a fact. Why then, if Saddam got rid of them or destroyed them, hasnt he shown us proof of it?

Since he had them, why is the burden of proof on the US, to show he has them now, instead of the burden of proof put on him to prove he has destroyed them.

He is the terrorist, not the US. Why do you trust that Saddam destroyed these, more than you guys trust our President and his administrations intelligence?

Look at the two men, then tell me who should be trusted.

PS: I was wrong about the number of fighter planes found. OK 30 not 50. It doesnt change the fact that they were hidden. If this isnt enough evidence that he is a liar and cant be trusted, then your credibility in this debate is worthless.
