As for Nonpoint...I think their Phil Collins cover is the only decent song they've released in 10 years.

The best cover song I've heard in a long time is Deftones - Simple Man. Amazing.

Next to that, Atreyu's cover of You Give Love a Bad Name is pretty sweet.

I am NOT a big fan of cover songs. Make up your own damn music... and usually the original is FAR better.

That said, Metallica did a few covers that I absolutely love.

Pat Benatar and John Mellencamp both did 'I need a lover' and I like them both. Not sure who did it first.
