Well I go the package and I am not impressed at all. Out of the 10 cigars , there is only 1 that I dont already have. Below is the list:

Padron Millennium Edition
AF Anejo
Gurkha ? not sure on size
Torano Tribute Robusto
Perdomo Edicion de Silvi robusto
AF Short Story (I think)
Ashton Heritage Puro Sol
Davidoff Millennium robusto
AF Flor Fina 858 maduro
AF (small like short story but maduro and natural wrapper)

Well I guess I didnt know what to expect from a puppy but I must say from everything I have read about Dave I did expect more then this. Sorry Dave, but not impressed at all. I dont know if others will be impressed. I know you will be impressed when you open up my box and I think others here on the board will be impressed.

Sound like the last one is a AF Work of Art maduro, well it is a pretty nice collection. now, I am really wondering what ropeman's package has inside 🙂

Kinda got to agree with the ropester.

While these are all great gars only the BTL and the Padron ME impress me. The Padron is the only item on the list I do not posess.

I do have to ask Ropeman what would have impressed you?

The only cigar on the list I didnt have was the Perdomo Edicion de Silvi robusto.

Bass, I am not sure what would have impressed me. My package would have impressed me, not all the sticks but some of the sticks I sent would have impressed me. I was looking for sticks that you dont see everyday, the WOA is not an everyday cigar. Although anything AF is really easy to get and ,most people have that stuff. I think Dave may have a couple fo the cigars I sent him but I know of at least one he never heard of. The brand is common but not the cigar.

Good package indeed...

But like the Ropeman said... not that impressive... I too, have them all (But 2)...

I was expecting more from you Smelly, especially since you call out Ropeman...

Low

BTW... like bassdude said, that AF (small like short story but maduro and natural wrapper) is probably a Fuente Between the Lines...

Now you better hold onto your hat, Smelly...

Would a AF "In between the lines" have impressed you?
Or how about the Forbidden X line like a OPUS X maduro?

Versa,

Niether would have impressed me. Like I said AF is a line that everyone has. I have pretty many Opus X and they do not impress me.

"In between the lines" is very very difficlut to get - it is the reverse striping of the Between the lines. Fuentes in general may be east to get, but Work of Art Maduros, BTLs, Anejos, only come out once a year for most and in limited quantitys. The IBTL is very rare as I have been looking for a long time.

The OPUS X maduro is an unavailable for comercial release and I believe can only be had by purchasing the Promethisis OPUS X cabinet humidor for like 10 grand (comes with a bunch of unreleased forbidden X's like that one, or a BBMF etc.

BTW, I am looking for a Masterpiece Maduro - would you happen to have an extra one for trade?

Actually Fuente's "In Between the lines" is a cigar rolled with three wrappers. Only about 20 of them were ever made. I think Slim said that the last on sold at auction for $750. That cigar would definitely impress me.

OK, I understand alot of these cigars come out only once a year but when they come out you get them if you want them. I dont care for the Opus X line but I do have some. Since I dont care for them I do not pay attention to them. I am judging the box as a whole not each and every cigar alone. No, I dont have a Masterpiece Maduro.

I'll just send your package back!!!! I really thought I might have gotten atleast a thank you for the 10 I sent.
I really think I have a good collection of premium cigars for only bein around the cigar-game for 6 or 7 months now.
To get nothing but negative, I AM PISSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Smelly I do not think anyone is disputing the quality of the gars. I would have been happy with that in a trade any day. But this was a see who tops who contest and you should expect critiques. I definitely was not trying to be negative.
