Smelly and Ropeman

I am actually very jealous that you guys possesed so many great and hard to find cigars, me too wish one day I can have this kind of collection and be able to roll with the big dog......

Just let me say....you could send that line up to me any time and I would be impressed. I think that with the restrictions on what you couldn't send, you did well

OK I just finished whipping my mule over that list. It is a simply freakin beautiful line up. It gave me a chubby.

Well if a guy has those kind of cigars for only being into this hobby for 6-7months, you got to give him props. You guys should keep this as a friendly competition where nobody really loses with those kind of cigars going back and forth.

I can take a good amount of razzing.....but when i am not even awake to defend my list, and I don't get one "thank you", from who i consider, a friend and a person I look up to to learn more about cigars....It pisses me right off!!!! I am a man of respect and manners, and that is downright BRUTAL!!!!!!

I didn't think I would say one single word until I saw ropeman's package. If DJ's package is better then this lineup than we should say so. if not - then we say that smelly's is better. Either way - HUGE kudos and silent awe should be given to smelly's package. I don't know if I could have come up with a package equal to this given his restrictions. I compliment you dave. And I urge you not to get worked up over some opinions. feel proud of yourself, and wait to recieve DJ's package

(although I'm surprised DJ couldn't identify all the gars....)

I have to see what ropeman sent to really judge whos is better. I do agree with the general consensis that only the Milli and the BTL would be considered unique and difficult to aquire. Taken as a whole though smelly that is a stellar lineup.

What the...i leave to a meeting and this thread has gone to ....

Observations....the Smelly Package is a good..heck i will even go as far as say a great package just as most BOTL have stated...heck, i would have loved to recieve that one...again, as many BOTL has stated...

But to call out "The Herfmiester"...

I was automatically thinking "Unicorn" cigars...those that you hear about but never, never see...

Just my thoughts...

And again...Smelly, that is a nice package...really it is...

I love the trash-talk before the competition, but after cigars are recieved......POSITIVITY is what makes the boards enjoyable to hold these type of friendly competitions.

Rasdas, ropeman mentioned that he wouldn't be impressed with a couple of "unicorn" cigars that I had mentioned so I am not sure what would be considered impressive here but I know that I consider most of smelly's impressive at least the taste/quality. I think that he is judging by availablity which is different for everyone in general. Just my .02.

I can only answer for me...and i said i liked the package you sent Smelly...and i thought it was/is a great package...really, that is what i said...let me go back and read over it though...

Same here. I never said Rope won just agreed that I was only really impressed with 2 of the gars. Maybe Rope's package won't impress me either. Now for this to come from a true newbie(6-7 months) that is impressive. After 6-7 months I don't think I knew AF had Hemis.

I do not consider myself to be one of the 'Big Dogs' so if I have the gar it ain't that hard to get.

I believe I reserved judgement on the contest as well. I never said your package was inferior. As a matter of fact It was great

I would be interesting though to hear from the "Big Dogs" what they would put together if it was their bomb. With the only caveat being that they must either possess this cigar or they must know where to acquire it. What say you guys? And if you get called out on a cigar you need to be able to tell where you can get it. (off this board of course)

I like that. I'd really like to hear from the Lowman, Docrks and fbcoacho their stash is legendary.

Those are the names i was thinking off...and add Billy (SmithBW)...
