Jet - I like the pics and the models. I, too, prefer really women to the airbrushed models (although I like looking at ALL women!!!!!!).

Frankly, I don't see any reason to be cruel and act like an ass. If someone doesn't like the model, a simple "She's not my type" would suffice rather than calling her a pig or something else degrading. Those people who call women pigs are usually azzhats who think they are God's gift to women and don't have respect for women in general. And, usually the critizers aren't any better looking than Chris Farley themselves. Many times they are twice-divorced or married to someone who looks nothing like those airbrushed models. I guess they belittle others because it's their way of making themselves feel better about themselves. There's no reason to call someone degrading names - it serves no purpose.

Keep posting - the photography is great and the models are real people who deserve to be treated with some dignity and respect.

I have always said, and will always say, that I am not a great photographer . . . There are Thousands of shooters better than I am . . . My attitude over this, if you will, has ZERO to do with Photography . . .

If you really want to know, I was not happy with the strobe I had Camera Left ... it was too soft, and created shadows on the models face, but it wasn't my light set-up, and I could not convince the other photographer to bump-up the power ...

But, that being said, I just don't understand where some of you get-off on calling women pigs . . . This girl is absolutely cute as a button and a joy to be around ... If you don't appreciate her looks, then for God's sake, just say she's not your type . . .

Where the Hell do some of you get off on verbally degrading women . . . ?

This was a fun holiday shoot, nothing too naughty, just fun . . . I posted the shot here thinking that some of yous might enjoy the photo, being in the holiday spirit and all . . .

Serious question here. Has nothing to do with the girl.

You are really technical about the lighting which I can understand coming from the photographer. But, didn't anyone think to iron the curtain? I am not a photographer and I would hardly notice some lighting. What I do see is the wrinkles in the curtain.

i think jet is a good photographer. wish I had that skill. I would take pictures of different subjects but so what?
