Allow me: "we might never have had a 911 if he (Nader) had been president, a post he will never hold. if however mccain had won, i don't think we would be at war now because we might not have had a 911." This is one of many quotes where you imply Bush is to blame for 9/11. When you suggest that 9/11 doesn't happen if another candidate were elected, then you are blaming Bush for the event. Backwards, yes, but we're used to that from any twisted Liberal. You've got the gall to criticize and complain without the balls to say what you really mean. (I was going to use "intestinal fortitude", but thought the "gall/balls" wordplay reads better)... For the record, the above quote was from a post last november.

tailgater----i am so glad that you think enough of me to go back a year to find my posts.----"When you suggest that 9/11 doesn't happen if another candidate were elected, then you are blaming Bush for the event. Backwards, yes, but we're used to that from any twisted liberal."----all liberals are twisted, therefore anyone twisted is a liberal.--let me rephrase
my post.----there is enough evidence surfacing that the bush amalgamation either didn't know what was happening, didn't know what to do, or didn't give a sh**. no, i don't hate the little bugger and i don't think he is a bad person or evil. i just think he is a dumb ass, managed by some really rotten and evil people. i believe his handlers and the rnc will start slinging lies and bs about kerry as soon as he announces. i think however, the country is full of dopes, excuse me, twisted dopes, that will still vote for him like they did for reagan's second term, believing him to be the second coming. i believe the next presidential election will be watched so closely by the media, the election will not be stolen again.

Well, Rick, sounds like you are "crabbing" trying to keep from being pinned for some of your blasts from the past! My favorite of your indescretions would be the Bush as Hitler post on Picture post! Yes, I am sure SuperNader would have stopped the slimy cowards who caused 9/11 in mid air! Maybe Gore would have negotiated a trade with them for the airplanes and hostages...NOT! You are too old to tell to grow up, so fahgedaboutit!!!!!!!!!! Charlie

Wow! Some nasty comments about Nader! The guy has been an advocate of the people since the 60's. He's one smart guy. Princeton(?) educated, a lawyer. If he tells you something, you should believe it is true(truth aint subjective, it is absolute). The thing is...he has very little charisma. His blunt style chafes people. His character however, is beyond question. Can we say the same for GWB. Don't bother with the Clinton remarks. They beg the question. Dang! Start a new topic already!

Rick, true I did a little digging. But to hear you say the lies that you spew onto these pages and go unchecked is a shame. Your posts are thought provoking and relevant, if not misguided. But please stop the blatant untruths. And X, to suggest that GW is low on moral fiber in comparason to Nadar is impossible to rationalize unless you know both personally. True, Bush has his storied past. But Nader has become perhaps the biggest hypocrit in the world. He simultaneously opposes big corporations while growing rich from it. He uses the very same tax shelters that he claims to abhor. I guess the only thing he truly hates is capitalism.

Gater, I may have an overly idealized vision of Nadar, true. I don't know much about him personally. I wasn't necessarily suggesting GWB is low on moral fiber. Although considering my previous posts, that's a logical conclusion. I was wondering if GWB posesses the positive attributes I percieve in Nadar. I did not say he doesn't. You seemed to draw that conclusion yourself!

Lookin at his daughters I'd have to agree, they do have some mighty fine attributes. So what your saying Rick is anybody who has normal, rebelious 17+18+19 yr kids is a failure as a parent? Rick you are a dipsh*t of the highest order.

GWB's teen-age daughters are no different than any other rebellious teens in our day and age. The fact that they are the daughter's of a sitting President simply magnifies the situation. It did for Chelsea Clinton although her father and mother clearly outshined her minimal discretions, as it did for Amy Carter and a host of other Presidential children. The Bush's seem to be fine and honorable parents!

: jjohnson28 ---if you think getting fake id's and getting drunk at any age especially 17 and 18 and 19 is normal rebellion you certainanly have the standards set low.---in george's case, considering his life style as a youngster, his daughters behaivior seems perfectly normal. and what are these mighty fine attributes his daughters have? -----me a dip****, no, i just set higher standards for my kids.

Rick here you go taking your "normal" shot at GWB! And to say he is some kind of an immoral person after the 8 years we put up with previous to this administration is probably the most innane remark you have posted on the board. No, I take that back and say remarks, because you continually slash and swipe at the President! I am glad to know that you have such wonderful moral fiber otherwise! I didn't even call you a dip or whatever! Charlie

Upon further review, I must also add that it is stupid and reprehensible to even bring up the "We Are Not at War" or "Only Congress Can Declare War" cards when we are in the WAR or FIGHT to protect our country that we are in today! Terrorist are trying to dismantle the USA and we have citizens saying things like we should not racially profile or we are not officially at War........STUPID. I agree that you should go visit ground zero and then post such a blantantly absurd statement! 2,000 plus civilians from all over the world lost their lives on 9/11 to a group of trash in the name of their "God"! At least 85 to 90% of the US citizens support the WAR on Terror! Charlie

Charlie, the reason people are pointing out that we are not at war is because, as I'm sure you know, the Gov. has special powers during war. Certain civil rights are suspended. That's fine IN TIME OF WAR. We aren't at war so I do not like the Gov. playing fast and loose with the Costitution you and I swore to protect. Call it what it is. Military action, punitive countermeasures, terrorist neutralization. It's important to be accurate when constitutional issues are at stake.

RICKAMAVEN... Let's see, here are some examples liberal minded/simple minded "higher standard" world you and people like you want to bring the US to:

* Abortions on demand without parents’ knowledge
* ACLU supported porn access in libraries for children
* Free education, medical care and welfare for illegal
* Government run medical system. Go to Europe and see how bad it can be
* The most corrupt Administration (Clinton) in history
* Tax system that penalizes successful people in the free market economy
* Support of corporate blackmail by the "poverty pimps" like the Rev. Jesse Jackson and others
* Unlimited supply of scum bags like the Clintons
and Gary Condit
* More liberal judges that feel they can make new laws from the bench
* A party (DNC) that wants bigger govt. because they feel they can make better choices than individuals can
* A party that feels it is acceptable to get BJ's in the oval office from interns
* A party that feels it is acceptable for the Prez to lie while being deposed
* A party that controlled Congress for 40+ years that resulted in bigger government and bigger debt. It wasn't until the Republicans were in control that welfare reform came too be and the debt went away
* Support of Abortion programs but no support alternatives like adoption

So you can keep starting these threads with your liberal BS but I know , I like most “Americans” don’t want your liberal dream/nightmare for the US to ever come true
