Cut off welfare. No more money for free.

You need money, you come into the welfare office in the morning. They tell you what your job will be that day. Some people clean trash from public places. Some clean toilets in government buildings. Some work at the sewage lagoon. Some pick up trash. Some work at the landfill. Basically all the **** jobs that we have public employees doing now. The current employees become supervisory staff.

Some of the welfare people work as childcare providers for the kids of the people doing the other **** jobs. Some of the welfare people work as cooks making the meals that the welfare people eat while at "work". Some of the welfare people work in the gardens and at the farms raising the food that the other welfare people eat.

You don't come in and work, you don't get welfare.

At the end of the day, you get paid for the work you do. The quality/quantity of work you do, not just the hours you were there playing with yourself.

Welfare problem solved. More people keep getting on welfare, the jobs get s******r.

Calavera, from an economic standpoint your idea will last about 1 day, then it will fail. Considering how many people you intend to put OUT of work to make new jobs for your segment.

ZRX, that suggestion does little more than satisfy your need to blame someone for your own shortcomings. Who's going to pay for the drug tests? Please explain how this whole drug test plan will help?

And let me counter your first salvo of "Because it is the right thing to do" with my reply of "I don't think it is the right thing to do". So now that that opinion and my opinion cancel each other out, give me a legitimate reason why it is okay.

I am not saying that charity is wrong. If you want to give a third of your income to help people without jobs, you can do that. It is your choice. I would not take charity and I don't expect to give any either.
