YOU ARE FLAT OUT WRONG ABOUT HOMOSEXUALITY BEING A CHOICE AND YOU ARE TOO DOGMATIC TO ACCEPT THE FACT THAT YOU ARE WRONG.

WHERE DID YOU EVER LEARN THAT? WHAT HAVE YOU STUDIED THAT WOULD ALLOW YOU TO SAY THAT?

Can you prove positively without interpretation, that they have proven there is a homosexuality gene?

Everything I have read says they THINK there is but, has not been proven yet...

Once again for the record, because this is a touchy subject, I am not anti gay... My whole argument is that, there should not be any special treatment or promotion BECAUSE someone is gay OR straight....

Fuzz, You can do better than that...

You of all people should understand my philosophy in that to you, there is no God until proven... Am I correct? The same goes for the homosexuality gene...

I really don't care if they find it or not to be totally honest here... Let me pose the question here...

Does anybody here believe that because somebody is gay(by gene or by choice) they should get special rights?

Be careful how you answer my question...

You said that being a homosexual is a choice, so you've taken a stand on the issue.

If it is a choice, when did you decide to be straight and how hard of a choice was it to make?

What are 'special rights'?

lol considering I first asked a question in post 29 that was ignored. But whatever.

I do enjoy using the Socratic method. It can lead to a more interesting conversation rather than just I'm right/you're wrong.

When did you choose to be straight and how hard of a choice was it to make?

Sorry Fuzz, I honestly thought you were being sarcastic...

Honestly, I would say that probably in or around the 5th or 6th grade... We had some family friends that we were around quite a bit... Their son and I were pals... When he wanted to touch my **** was when I decided that wasn't for me... Long before I really knew what gay or straight meant... (He never touched me BTW)

Maybe it had to do with being brought up in a religious home, or maybe I just thought it was icky... LOL

I am perfectly content and secure with my decision...

Will that answer work?

Special rights? Any promotion or raise given BECAUSE someone is homosexual... The same goes for minorities, men vs women, or any other circumstance...

We are all equal right?

Now, answer my question please?

You thought it was icky? why? If it's really a decision you shouldn't have had a feeling one way or the other, it would be more of a do I want to be gay or not. You should just as easily decided to be gay.

I knew from very early on I liked girls, and never considered boys as an option. Was a natural thing for me.

It didn't say that at all. It was a general statement regarding the way things are 'discussed' here. The 'I'm right/you're wrong' refers to anyone on the board. I'm hoping you knew that because it's elementary reading comprehension.
