Bunch of people I know are going to that show in Tinley. I thought about it but I can't do lawn anymore and I'm not paying what they want for seats.

Thank Merciful God the temperature has been 90 or below recently. The humidity is still high but it is at least bearable for a Toro in the afternoon. Mornings and evenings are terrific for smoking now except for the skeeters. 🦟 Looking forward to cooler weather.

I spent the entire day explaining and demonstrating for my 5 and 7 year olds what "colonoscopy prep" means. They were very amused. They also had very detailed questions that only 5 and 7 year old would ever ask.

Fun times.

Still hanging in with no power after the storm. Our neighbors cleared the road into our development. Still tons of trees laying everywhere luckily not on our house Hundreds of poles down in the area, but we have water and non-perishable food and gas to cook it on. And gas to have hot water for showers. Since the storm the weather has been pretty good.

Man, if anyone needs firewood, there are hundreds of cords neighborhood and thousands more in the area. And not just pine, oak, hickory, sycamore, walnut etc.
