I counted 17 bucket trucks from Arizona Public Service in a convoy headed south on the freeway. News says it will take them two days to get there and they expect to be there at least one month.

Same. Told him that I don't have an extension cord long enough to reach him.

Been running on the generator since Thursday morning. They're telling us it'll be Tuesday before we have power. Already went through our propane tanks running the generator and spent a good hour and a half getting them refilled, so that was fun. Here's to hoping that we get power back a bit sooner.🤞

Will your generator run on methane? If so eat a bunch of beans and other gaseous producing foods. Fart in the tanks - free naturally produced gas.

Can't complain there. Our house is intact, even though it was attacked by a UFO during the storm (literally, a 3-4 foot wide fiberglass circle of unknown use or origin, hit the wall so hard it scared the bejesus out of us). Took me a couple hours to get the drive way cleared so we could leave, but I'm just gonna pay the lawn guys to do the rest as I'm already dealing with a wrenched back from the last cleanup (how long ago was that again???) and the wife can't help cause she managed to break her ankle in between storms. It's been a fun couple of weeks, but we have friends that lost everything in the last storm, so we're more than aware of how fortunate we've been.

We live near Seminole City in Pinellas, about 2.miles.from the beach. We got whacked pretty hard since all the really rough weather seemed to stick on the northern edge of the eye. Annoyingly for us, a lot of those around us, including my nextdoor neighbor, have power, but our house and the opposite neighbors house are the only two on this particular branch, so we're pretty low on the priority list. Heck, they just had to rebuild a line of poles down Park Blvd, like dozens and dozens of poles that were leaning or broke, so we know it'll take a bit to get to us.
