I almost pissed myself from laughing so hard. Anyways, possum can't be worse than the pigeon I ate at a French restaurant. It tasted so bad I couldn't finish the microscopic portion they serve. It tasted like dead pigeon.

Amen to that Rick.I'll try anything once....it can't be any worse than some of the so called food I've eaten halfway round the world.There were a few things I just could not get to pass my lips but damn few.I like interesting food.

I love sushi, and have tried escargot, frog's legs, buffalo, ostrich, alligator, rattlesnake, chapulines, goat, and thiet canh viet (Vietnamese duck's blood pizza). Gotta draw the line at balut (chicken fetus), though.

Balut is one of my favorites.Honestly after my first balut at 18........I went on a trek across Asia trying everything.Some of it may be hard to look at,such as live tree worms(damn tasty)or boiled snails(not my cup of tea,but if it taste good....I'm on board wit it.

I still pick up a half dozen balut ever now and then at an Asian market in Abilene Texas.Some of the best beer food around.

Lots of raccoons, but no possum here until mebbe 20 years ago. Not real smart critter, get run over by cars and trucks often.
So often that there was a morning radio spot where listeners could call in the location of those freshly crushed, and it would be announced to the cry of 'Possum down @ such and such location!'
