If I could watch homeless people fight to a classical music track that would probably be the ultimate.

Well... I mean... They smell better and don't pee on the sidewalk.

... But they're more inclined to eat your brains... So it's a toss up.

can you place wagers on how the Opera is going to end?

You could, with the same kind of people who are willing to bet on replays of old games.

See that's where the homeless people come into play because then there would be a random element you could bet on. 😉

Betting on sports doesn't require actually watching them, or enjoying watching them. One could, in theory, place a bet on some sort of sporting event, go watch an opera, and return to collect winnings or distribute lost funds.

I guess you could bet on equipment malfunctions as those are relatively common. The main thing is that you are engaged and betting on multiple activities.

You can bet on which seat falls asleep...

I used to watch my parents both sleep through the plays we would go to monthly.

The only time I fell asleep at an Orchestral event when I was balls to the wall hammered during a Rachmaninoff concert. I kept waking up to someone banging cymbals.

Watching the Barber Of Seville. A new favorite.

Bruno Pratico plays Bartolo in this one, does an excellent job!
