I missed the mix up with the BTL, so I'm substituting the Casa Fuente for it.

Bassdude, if you'd rather have a BTL, I do have another one I might be willing to part with... assuming the Casa Fuente makes it to you, you can pick between the two (actually, that deal goes for const33 too)...

Good luck fellas!

I have a couple of BTLs. I just missed this entirely then saw the post saying it was taken.

Not sure I have any cigar that matches the Casa Fuente.

Bassdude, actually this is good for both you and Wennerman to know, I completely forgot that my BTL's were actually Reverse BTL's, even rarer still... if that makes a difference.

Hi, Rick! Welcome to Cbid! I like how you're jumping in feet first -- with gusto! 🙂

There's a Newbie Info thread floating around the boards somewhere that explains trades, PIF's, PIB's and box passes. This is a box pass, and essentially each person on a predetermined participants list will take turns trading a few cigars from a box that's then passed along to the next person on the list -- participants must post their puts/takes for group approval and each put must be of equal or greater value to what was taken.

A box pass is a great way for someone to try some cigars they've never had or even seen before and to share experiences and information with other members in the group. This particular pass is a little different, as it only contains Super Premium and Rare cigars, so only established or vouched for members can join in.

I suggest you do some trades with other members here (as I see you're already doing!) and then try some PIF's and PIB's. They're all a great way to estabish your reputation as reliable trader and a standup BOTL.

Good luck! And again, welcome.

OK, now I have to check mine. I think I gave one of these away. I know I only had one from 2000 with a maduro cap so I thought that was the rare one.

const33, it's your turn, so you can wheel and deal for any cigar in the pass -- as long as your puts are equal or better than your takes!

Since this is a very rare Reverse BTL, I'm going to go ahead and put it in the $35-40 range, which is pretty fair when you look at what the market's asking. Feel free to dispute that price tho, I'm open to negotiating. 🙂

The Casa Fuente Robusto's going for $21 -- I'll go ahead and waive the cost of the plane ticket, $20 mojito and $300 blackjack tab! LOL!

Good luck!

I got some advice from a Rare Fuente expert extraordinaire, and he told me that $20 is fair asking price for a Reverse BTL... sooooo, let the games begin! 🙂
