Wow, Big Bear. You are full of the same righteous indignation I was, right before I was banned for life. I was burning bridges and taking no prisoners, just like you. It seemed right at the time, but I came to regret it down the road. From personal experience, you may wish to delete that post, once you've calmed down. You may not give a da*n right now, but you may in the future. As they say, hind sight is 20/20.

used to be that CI was the only 'authorized' reference aside from cigarbid....I assume that is still the case.

No question that other 'separate' entities shared some storage and distribution, and maybe IT and wholesalers.....I'm unaure where DM and P&C actually now fit....but if you do happen to care about the rules, you should be save with mention of CI and avoid the rest....until Trish or someone lets us know otherwise

Then again...whilst the fubar continues in full swing, there don't seem to be any minotaurs.....so, unenforced 'rules' are just words

The answer is still no. Decided to try ordering again. Orders that I would have placed months ago before all this started usually would have shipped by now based on my shipping frequency. My current order is still "being processed". Called customer service. On hold less then 20 minutes, but still left on hold. Once they answered the phone, they could not have been nicer, especially considering what's been going on for some time now and what they have had to deal with. They did confirm that things are still not back to normal.

With availability way down and prices way up, I can't help but wonder if this is not some new business model - move less inventory at higher prices. As I have mentioned before, it's kind of like when the oil refineries claim to "go down for maintenance". The gas pump prices go way up while they deliver less product. Sound familiar?

Without solid, specific information from Cbid, we are all allowed only to speculate and I am speculating that this will be going on for some time, if not indefinitely.

Y'all must have not purchased the membership. My order processed Tuesday, and was shipped today. We'll see if everything comes as planned.

Took a look at the P&C site for the first time. Deals not as good, but "Joe" sure looks a lot more distinguished!

Order shipped on Wednesday, and arrived today. Everything was accounted for. Seems like they are back to normal to me.

Spoke too soon about no problems. Ordered a few things from the mothership. Got all but a $20 sampler. Instead, I was sent a $150 box of cigars that isn't even in the inventory, this side or that side. Braved the 30min wait for a rep, and. Told her what happened. She said they'd send the sampler, and a label by email so as to return the box. Thus far, no label, no sampler. Hmm....

Wait, you called to tell them that they sent you a $150 box rather than your $20 sampler? You sir are a Saint

I see today that cigarbid finally refunded $40 for a February order I never got.

They haven't refunded the shipping cost, well, which was only about $7, even though they sent it via the wrong carrier and it never made it past California before it was sent back to PA.

S&H may be caught up, but Cigar Bid is FAR from being back to normal. Still ONLY offer a few dozen NEW 5-Packs a day being posted! Used to be OVER 100 every day except Saturdays, which no new 5-Pack, Box, or Singles auctions start.

I mean 22 5-Packs is SO PITIFUL! Should be about 120
http://www.cigarbid.com/Category/5-Packs/StartingToday

and only 168 Quickes as opposed to over 300 EVERY DAY! before their DOWNGRADE!
http://www.cigarbid.com/Category/Quick-ies/

and only 177 Singles available. Before their Downgrade they always had over 400 up for bid
http://www.cigarbid.com/Category/Singles/

and even boxes are down by 30 for 40 per day. NEVER posted less then 110 per day prior to the downgrade.

who gives a **** about shipping when their ain't nothing worth bidding on at a decent price.

It's a marketing ploy to get us desperate sheep to bid more for fewer lots. Simple.

Exactly what I have been saying on previous posts. It appears Cbid has taken a page out of the oil companies' playbook. Suddenly the refinery "goes down for maintenance" which "creates shortages in supply", and the pump prices go up and stay up. Sound familiar? Not exactly Capitalism at its finest.

Take a peek at the latest cbid catalog....seems prices went up 30% overnight.
Fortunately we have other choices.

Jcdawg23, no, I'm no saint. The box ain't my brand or my size, and I'd really rather have that Punch sampler. I just figured they'd want this box of RyJ back. The lady I spoke with said yes, they want the box back, but I'm starting to wonder if they really do.
