If that’s the same bottom shelfer that I had as a youngin’, that’s pretty rough stuff.

MB Roland Dark Fired bourbon. Pembroke KY.

So, so good. Deep buttered roasted corn flavor with 112.3 proof of punch. Will finish the two and a half fingers and it will in turn finish me.

Tullahoma Tennessee. One of the originals. Enjoy.

For me, two fingers of Bulleit Bourbon.
After a long day, after some long weeks.

Prost!

George Dickel Bottled in Bond...…….I've always been a fan, especially the #12 and the Barrel Select but this BIB is some damn fine whisky. With my military discount I picked this up for $32 a bottle...…..really a freaking 13 year old whisky for 32 bones. This find only pails in comparison to a bottle of Weller 12 I ran across a couple weeks back for $29.99

Typically I’m a Glenlivet 12 drinker - Ice and a splash of water.

But I want to give a shout out for the new kid on the block, TX Blended Whisky made with Ft. Worth Texas.

Outside of Makers being the best whiskey they had it turned out to be a fun night. Will probably make up for it tonight on the whiskey end.

I'm relatively new to the world of Islay whisky; I picked up a bottle of Laphroaig, Ardbeg, and Lagavulin this week - I'm looking forward to trying them all out this weekend. :)
