Over the weekend finally got the recipe figured out for a drink I had in Vegas at the Chart House restaurant. Made a small batch of it to hold me over for a while lol

"Chocolate and Bourbon"

2 oz Four Rose's SiB (or bourbon of your choice)
1/2 oz Tiramisu liqueur (not the cream type)
1/2 oz sweet vermouth
5 dashes of Fee Brothers Aztec chocolate bitters.

Just FYI that damn Tiramisu liqueur is harder to find than you think

I tried this drink while out in Vegas in 2018 and it was phenomenal.... it took a bit of research and tweaking but I finally got it! Enjoy gentlemen

It's not bad....I found it a little light for my taste even at the higher proof.
I haven't had it in awhile may need to revisit.

Balvenie Doublewood 12.

My buddy Rob likes Bourbon. I tried Elijah Craig and Dickel... still not a fan of bourbon.

Yeah, some of the marketing and hype's made me nervous. I'm interested in your take.

Little Book Chapter #3. I think I finally found a bourbon I really like. Cheaper than Booker's around these parts too.

When I bought LB #1, it was a Behind-the-counter-special-customers-only bottle. Paid a small premium and was NOT impressed with it. Kinda turned me off on the whole Booker’s mystique. Maybe time to revisit? Think

I have only enjoyed 1 Bookers and bought a 2nd bottle of same label but ended up with a completely different profile to it. Not a Bookers fan here.

Tasting at Copper Fox today

Rye
Peachwood single malt
Sassy Rye
Port Barrel rye

Honestly all were good but I like the finish of the port rye which wasn't as sweet as other pirt barrel eyes I've tried. The peachwood was pretty good as well though.
