did you mean you preferred Single Barrel and Basil? You wrote you settled on small batch and basil.

If you didn't like Mitchners (sp?) it's possible you may prefer wheated bourbon over higher rye content.

yellow label is their inexpensive offering.
It's OK in it's price range but you probably won't learn anything about bourbon...
usually between $15 and 18 near me for a 750. I grab one here and there but it's not exciting to me.

Yes, Single barrel and the Basil's, I swear I have dyslexia some days. I haven't had a chance to get to the liquor store yet, but need to restock a bit, gonna make sure I get another bottle of Single barrel as I drank my last a few days ago.

The Mitchners I have was their small batch (finishing that bottle up right now as a matter of fact), so starting to wonder if the "small batch" moniker is more "well, it's nothing like our regular, and not good enough to single barrel, so call it "small batch" instead of pouring it out on the floor. LOL. I may try their other lines later, need to research what the mash bill was on the small batch, but am lazy.

Not to piggyback onto Palama’s sentiments,
but that’s exactly what I’m doing.

2 finger salute of the Elijah Craig Small Batch you recommended for me Ron.
Delicious. Salute to you...

You better have been drinking whiskey when you posted this response!!!

If not, don't be hijacking the whiskey thread -
There are few things I hold dear in life,
and whiskey is one of 'em goddammit!

You blasphemer!!!...

2020 sounds like a good year for ECBP.

I’m on the lookout for this and hoping my son will find some:
