Didn't buy any though.

Trying to decide between buying a bottle of glen garioch 12 or glen morangie Quinta ruban. Going to buy it this evening on the way home and smoke an Ashton maddie with it.

Leaning glen garioch at 48%

Did y'all quit drinking?

Glendronach revival at the pub. Just bought a bottle of bunnahabhain 12. Letting it breath a bit.

Not really liking this bunnahabhain. Good thing I bought a whole bottle of it. Hopefully it grows on me.

Dude! I was kidding about drinking your way out of a whiskey slump!
You're on the verge of setting a new Whiskey Men's High Single (candlepin bowling fans will get the reference).

Cleanse your palate. For example, I'm sipping a nice Van Gogh Double Espresso vodka right out of the freezer now. Not the cruddy espresso but the wonderful double espresso. Regenerate them taste buds, bud.

I loved the glendronach earlier tonight. Had one dram if it at the pub, stopped on the way home to buy the bunnahabhain, ate dinner and drank water then had 2 drams of the bunn. Reminds me of cough medicine. Maybe I'll stow it away until winter.

Should have bought a bottle of glendronach instead. Kicking myself for being cheap and not spending 20 more bucks.

so, Ron, would you be the pot or the kettle???!!! You hit like a mutha effer yourself! HA!

Thanks Tim, I should be OK. Got the last two bottles from a local that got 'em for me by request when my regular said he could no longer promise them. But I heard of a place not too far that is supposed to have plenty.

I still have an unopened bottle, but you'll hear the plaintive wailing from here if that is false...

Half glenmorangie original half Kirkland 18. I enjoy the mix better than either of the originals. Weird.

I'm at a local yuppie bar that throws a cigar/whiskey tasting event the first Thursday of every month. Waiting for my damn food for 45 mins...

If that ever arrives I'll be trying some Templeton Rye.

Dry chicken, terrible rice....****

On another note, Templeton Rye pairs nicely with a Illsuione Holy Lance maduro.

It's a bourbon, it's aged in American Oak Barrels for a couple years, then put in second-use Dragon's Milk beer barrels for 90 days before being bottled.
